When you cater to the 1% of the playerbase and leave the 99% to fend off to themselves, you start losing player count. If Trials is supposedly the "End Game" and only the elite can win, then what's the point? Business wise with Trials in year 2, Bungo failed miserably. Sorry I don't have the same view as you :/

See that's the things right there. If only 1% is negatively affected by skill based matchmaking and 99% gets off ok and enjoys it, why not make it 100% cbmm? Your odds of being a 99% and running into the 1% are small. The kids that really play the game and love it are upset because it's just an awful experience. I would be ok with a nonstop sweat fest if it meant I would always have good connections. Not even close. It's a brutal experience

I think cbmm isn't the way to go. Sure it would be a step in the right direction but then we would be back in Year 1 with that sort of connection bs (of which I never really had). Now I know what I'm about to say has been driven to the ground by everybody and that's dedicated servers. Also too, another thing that could go is people taking crucible seriously. When everyone is following the same weapons, things get repetitive and engagements are boring. So in a sense, Trials is not only ruined by Bungo, but the community as well. (PS Not sure if this means anything, I was once part of the 1% back in Year 1.)
-
Why would you not want to take a step in the right direction tho? Servers won't happen for this game so late in its lifespan, all we can hope for is that in destiny 2.
-
At this point, We (as in the community) complains about everything. Whenever Bungo does anything, it'll make someone upset so why bother right now? :/ (PS Ya I agree when Destiny 2 comes, that's when dedicated servers will come too)

And us 1%'ers continually get screwed over by the thing called SBMM. We have the absolute worst crucible experience compared to the other 99%. When trials comes around, its a sigh of relief because we finally get to experience good connections and actually get to have fun again. Especially with the friends that we don't get to play with since they're not at the same skill level. I understand that it's tough to get to the lighthouse now, and it's supposed to be. I try to get as many people as I can to the lighthouse and do it without pay. But you have to understand that trials is literally the only playlist that we have where we can enjoy ourselves now. If it weren't for people whining about how easy it was to get to the lighthouse in year one, this probably wouldn't have happened. In essence, SBMM needs to get the hell out.

Omg. If players are now being shunned from even getting the chance to play and complete bounties, and they post request for CASUAL FAMILY FRIEND teams are being ransacked by twitch raffles and watch me this watch me that, you don't think that's a problem? And this game mode nor game is not only for 1%, it's for all. And there's more, but when people are full of themselves, they may not even listen....
-
Players getting shunned is a problem yes. And yes I realize that the game is for all. But I don't think you get what I posted. So I'll let you read my post again. And don't worry bud, I listen. But I can interpret the main point from a person's post, which is something you obviously can't do. Want a hint? Look at the last line of my post. And it's funny how twitch streamers are getting heat as of lately for doing raffles to help people. Even though they've been a thing since trials ever came out. But anyways, I hope my smart ass comment was a nice reply to your ass of a reply.

I get what you posted, and I agree LH are for those who succeed The more I had is the fact that greats are now facing off with peasants at match 1 and 2 and 3. I was shifting the convo away from LH and to the fact that some are being shunned The gally plague all over
