Should sniping be more challenging?
I feel that sniping is too easy in destiny. Getting a headshot doesn't provide the enjoyment that a headshot from BF does. If we could make it a little more challenging using things like scope sway because snipers are realistically a heavier rifle meaning you can't aim down the scope and be perfectly steady 100% of the time, but this is a video game and isn't meant to be realistic. Just a thought.

I honestly think using any weapons and even meleeing needs to have some challenges to it. Before your able to aim in and shoot you have to be able to solve an expert level puzzle that pops up on your screen.

Not a big sniper fan, but I look at destiny having no scope sway because it's futuristic and armor possibly accommodates to help with extra weight of rifles and better handling. similar to armor having jet pack lifts. Makes sense to me future armor would accommodate for that. Otherwise the weight of some of the titans armor should be tough just raising your arms to shoot a hand cannon

I think they should add in scope sway or a descoping mechanic that actually makes it challenging to use a sniper. There's a reason there is scope sway or descoping because it balances the snipers. With out this they are broken and basically a scout rifle with a smaller mag but stupidly fast time to kill, needing only 2-3 body shots or 1 headshot. I'm not calling for a nerf to the stats those can stay the same but make it where it actually requires skill to use a sniper

The last thing I want is another nerf season because you think it's to easy to snipe and you get 100 more people with the same thought to change more shit because you're being out sniped. You're probably the same people that said ghorn was to powerful because you never got one and no one wanted to do hard VOG with you. Sorry you're not good at sniping but it's to bad.

Yes much agreed. As it stands now I could close my eyes and still get a headshot. Casually fun sure, challenging? Not at all. I myself would love to see less aim assist and stronger primary weapons.

For sure. The game was more fun in Y1 when Sniper Rifles we're kept in check by certain primary types.

I'd say just remove aim assist in crucible but make it upper chest and head shot is a kill if they were to change it.

Remove aim assist and you de-scope when you get shot. If I can snipe, that means it's too easy. It's been said a lot.

They should stop people from moving while hard scoping and quick scoping while jumping Any movement while trying to aim a sniper should make the gun virtually impossible to aim

They should make No Land Beyond the only sniper, problem solved. Would probably make games more fun because it's a really fun gun if you give it a try (when it doesn't misfire).

1 RespuestaWell, battlefield has maps that stretch out 2500 meters, which gives elements like sway and bullet drop a place. Theres also much more sniper lanes and it's much more open, making them harder to counter. In destiny, I think some maps need reworking so snipers don't crowd around the only one or two sniper sight lines in the map. I also think scopes should have a blanket zoom increase, because it'll promote longer range sniper gameplay.

I think we need to make body shots do less damage and un-nerf the scope changes. That would make headshots more valuable. Also we need a lot less special ammo in pvp

A LOT of people still can't use a sniper to save their lives, just because the top 1%-5% practiced with them and got good, does NOT mean there's a problem with snipers, that's a problem with you as a player not being able to accept that some people are plain better than you. Buff primaries. Buff blink. Buff shotguns. Buff fusion rifles/put the game to CBMM so fusions actually hit their targets. For the love of f**k stop nerfing everything or making things harder to use just because YOU don't like it.

I agree Snipng should be a little harder, it's too easy right now, but if comparing it to BF is not the way to go. They are two totally different games and yes I know what your argument could be "But I'm not comparing the games just Snipng" whenever you analyze any part of a game you have to take the the game as a whole in to consideration. When you take Destiny and BF and compare them as whole they are two different games and Sniping is the way it is because of their unique identities.

Sniper rifles should be heavy and cumbersome to use, you shouldn't really be able to sprint round a map getting 360 no scope head shots with them. They should at least de-scope when you shoot said sniper in the face.
