Here is a twitter page I got linked to, look at how hesitant this guy is to be polite and connect with the fans.
The initial tweet was a response from Derek to a random user that asked how he could make it so he wasn't getting sweaty matches that are really laggy. Derek replied with "Try strikes?" Basically saying "-blam!- you and i'll do what I want."
He is defending SBMM. This is probably the attitude of every crucible designer in the building, at this rate we will never get SBMM completely removed.
They admitted to adding it, for unbiased data
Now the SBMM is "Mythical?"
Bull shit, we have been yanked around and slammed against the walls like ragdolls by the constant lying.
We need a better source of acknowledgement. We need to move towards a solution, and that is by removing SBMM. Who cares about being matched based on skill if there are no ranked playlists?
Nobody ever asked for SBMM or the new connection settings that made it extremely difficult to play, it's very frustrating too.
We need SBMM removed.
Reconsider your stance Derek, for the sake of the fans, a lot of people would come back to play again if Skill based connection settings were removed and reverted to y1 settings.
Please vote up so this can be seen by Bungie.
EDIT: To those who disagree, you're either a troll. Or blind to the fact that the connection settings in destiny are heavily effecting the customers experience. The MM settings are to blame, they admitted to removing it, but this is a lie. Nothing has changed after their supposed "removal" of skill based connection settings. It has only been worse since. To deny this fact constitutes a delusional mind.
It is however not delusional whatsoever to think that the way the people against SBMM are not very friendly in their ways.
I'm not saying we should do anything to Derek besides help convince him to implement CBMM completely. Remember in reach when you played without preferences, every match had a good connection. There were only one or two games where Highly skilled players would wreck you, but it was far less often than destiny's consistency.

To me, it's like you're admitting you're not good enough to beat good players and that if you have good stats, they're inflated AF from pub stomping randoms while in a group. I literally picture you people throwing a tantrum on the floor like a two year that just got cut off from the cookie jar. I mean, hahaha, people wonder why gamers have a reputation for being entitled cry babies. (now quick, SBMM haters look at my stats and act like I'm new and didn't just switch from PS4 to X1...)
