Solution to shoulder charge problem if they do decide to nerf it
Increase the cool down OR wind up of shoulder charge.
Remove increased armor from unstoppable but buff the damage resistance of unstoppable by like an additional percentage but I don't know how much so for balance sake.
Make juggernaut encompass the whole body so it's actually useful.
My reasoning for not making shoulder charge require a melee charge: it would be the first ability to run off of another ability charge which could cause more titans to run overload.
Also by adding this stupid mechanic you could bet your ass they would do it to both hunters and warlocks eventually too because you know how these stupid things go, you nerf one one class and they literally CRY for the other ones to be nerfed.
Example:
Make blink require a grenade charge but make it so your jumps normal like increased control without the charge.
See how rediculous that would be?
But if you actually think about it, shoulder charge isn't even useful for anything other than PvP and even then it's free kills for most people.
Edit: some stupid responses I'm getting think I'm a camping sniper but it is untrue.
As a titan main who has used titan since the beta I would hate shoulder charge be nerfed the way a lot of cry babies want it to be nerfed.
So my much more lenient, and not to mention more sensible solution to those rediculous posts is that they do something to stop this bitching.
I hate everyone that cries for the shoulder charge nerf because it's been relatively the same since launch.
But that same EXACT argument they can use against you by saying hunters were the same since launch and so forth.
I simply tried to come up with a solution to sanctify the salty tears of angry people.
THE MAIN POINT OF THIS POST IS TO PROPOSE A SOLUTION IF THEY DECIDE ITS TIME TO NERF, I DONT WANT A NERF ON IT.
THIS POST IS JUST A PROPOSAL FOR WHEN THE TIME COMES, even if it doesn't come.

I'm not saying i don't get salty cause believe me i do. But honestly any shotgun will stop them before they hit you. Hit detection is the problem that makes it when you shotgun them they some how still kill you and end in a trade but that doesn't happens that often. If anything needs to be nerfed its the jug shield. And i say this because I'm salty of britches running around with it and a shotgun lol.

5 RespuestasSee, but shoulder charge is already classified as a melee of sorts. The perk Transfusion, which grants health regeneration on melee kills, activates on Shoulder charge kills. Not saying it needs a nerf, but just pointing that out.

1 RespuestaShoulder charge is a powerful tool but is not over powered. The issue is bungie has slammed the other classes to the ground and is kill our counter capabilities. I main warlock and hunter but have a Titan I play as well and yes shoulder charge is an easy kill but not a guaranteed. It was never an issue until the other classes were brought down. Bungie needs to quit listening to their data and understand that people are always going to use strong tools. So making the strongest weaker does nothing but bump the runner up to the top spot. Eventually we will end up with rusty tools that break when used.

6 RespuestasAnyone who ACTUALLY plays a titan WITH shouldercharge would see that it is not "free kills" as you state. Lots of mechanics have to work together to enable a kill with shouldercharge. You and others make it sound like every time a titan enacts shouldercharge they get a kill. This is far from the truth. Shouldercharge is easy to counter. So easy in fact that I die when shouldercharging, as much or more than I kill with it. So you ask why run it then? Because it is fun as hell. The constant movement, the urge to push forward, the need for speed.... ;p I understand your point OP, but when you start to come up with compromises you have already lost the debate. You have given in to the cries for nerf. Stand proud and defend your position. If you don't think it needs a nerf, then stand by that. Don't try to come up with compromises to "minimize" the impact. Shouldercharge is fine as it is, if anything it could still use a bit more of a buff to the hit detection, and turn radius.

5 RespuestasI say make it work like suncharge, as in; I'm vertically higher than you, no, you are NOT going to jump your head straight up my ass then blink back to the ground and keep running like you haven't broken several laws of physics. Suncharge is a stronger super ability, but it didn't track vertically. I miss when shoulder charge was 'broken' to where if i jumped even a tiny bit, i wasn't hit by it. Good times.

2 RespuestasOnce you get to a certain level of play, shoulder charge becomes more if a movement technique, than a form of offense. All these posts of people complaining about shoulder charge just shows how inept they are. I feel no remorse for people who can't take two seconds to look at their radar
