Now, shutting down a super via suppression grenades or shadow shot is rewarding in its own right, but do you think the person who did shut down said super should get a small amount of points for doing so?
Suppression grenades are so rarely used, so rewarding a well placed grenade that takes an enemy player out of their super might be nice. That or a well timed bow shot.
maybe 50 points? nothing major, but in a game where momentum seems to be key, denying an enemy their super could be what cinches a win for your team.

You should get points in general for shutting down supers. While they're at it, remove extra points for getting heavy kills.
-
Bump. That's tough to pull off successfully, some points would be nice. Titan puts up Ward of Dawn, saves entire team. *Support: 20 points* (or something like that, it's not much)
-
I think shutting down a super in general should reward points. Two of the easiest things to get kills with in this game reward bonus points (heavy kills and super kills), why shouldn't shutting down a super?

4 RespuestasEditado por YOLORuinsLives: 7/5/2016 5:04:03 PMDefenders so bad they should make suppression nades steal a portion of enemies super or regen super upon hit and make the bubble like winstons bubble and make it kill able with bullets
-
I think killing someone while they're in super should create orbs for you.
-
I think you should get extra points for shutting down supers in general, I.e. Sniping out a golden gun, or meleeing a blade dancer
-
New medal for shutting down a super... Denial
-
A medal would make sense. I'd be fine with points, as long as it wasn't a lot. I don't think it's a big deal either way. But, again, a medal is a good idea, I think. Why not?
-
2 RespuestasYou are by taking away points from the other person.
-
Sure, you can have brownie points, and a metaphorical cookie
-
Lol you get opportunity points by denying the other team kills, it only doesn't show on the score board

Editado por lordtacolord: 7/5/2016 1:11:54 PMI have wondered this myself. At the very least a ten point bonus for taking someone out of a super. Wouldn't be game breaking in any way, but at least it would recognize the fact that you more than likely took a huge risk to help out your team. I mean, we get bonus points for just about everything else, why isn't this already in game?
-
Why not?
-
No. Denying a super already has enough of a reward; shutting one down means you don't have to worry about them wrecking your team more than they already have. Therefore, you get a 1 to 5 hundred point advantage, depending on what the super was and how good the player was.

1 RespuestaSo that "the Fun police" could rise again B-)

I love throwing suppression grenades and it blows up on a stormcaller or hammers before they see you and they kill you anyway, then get suppressed coz it didn't register in time.
-
A medal for a super suppression shutdown would be nice too
-
-
yea but like 15 points like a revive
-
Sure. That sounds good. I support that idea. Sincerely, Warlock that dosent have a suppression ability to use.
-
1 RespuestaI never got why killing with a super awards points (because it's fairly easy, depending), but killing a supered person doesn't give you any extra points (except And Stay Down).
-
3 RespuestasI'd only go for it if locks had a suppression ability. Sure it's only 50 points but I was in a match that was won by a mere revive, every little bit counts after witnessing that. Maybe killing ppl while there super is active would be a better alternative.

2 RespuestasNo to supressing, but shutting down or stopping, yeah
-
4 RespuestasNo because not each subclass has a perk to suppress... Instead you should get a medal
-
I think not dying is enough of a reward in itself.
