I got GTA recently because my friends were begging for me to get it. Now that I have it they either don't want to play it or when they do play it, they play for 30 minutes and then leave. Leaving me to think that it just really isn't that great. So is it?

I enjoyed it but I put more than enough hours in back when it was released on PS3. After that I really wasn't into it anymore outside of maybe for a week. After being lied to about Heists for so long and then them being delayed yet again on PS4 we were all just bored by the time they were released. I think I played all of 3 heists before I was bored simply because it was still GTA and friends were bored about a week later.

The story mode is absolutely amazing, multiplayer is fun too but I don't play it all too often anymore.
-
My friends hyped it up a lot was let down when it got boring after 2 weeks.
-
If you got friends to play with.
-
It's not that good. Gets boring fast. Only game I liked was GTA IV.
-
San Andreas and Chinatown Wars were the only ones I enjoyed
-
It's fun if you have at least two friends with you. Otherwise it's really stale as it doesn't have much of an objective.
-
It's fun at first, the it gets very boring quickly.
-
It's highly overrated.
-
-
It's really fun to mess around on with friends
-
The only thing i dislike about GTA 5.. The loading times are atrocious.
-
Yeah. Grand Theft Auto is one of the few game franchises that hasn't royally screwed up after 2 or 3 games.

Editado por Patriot121: 7/5/2016 12:36:22 AMNo. The campaign seems fun at first, but once you get through it you realize out of the last 10 hours only the 30 minutes you spent heisting were any fun. The multiplayer sucks and is an absolute grindfest that's worse than Destiny.
-
I personally love it. Saving money is a bit of a grind-fest tho
-
It gets boring as quick with or without friends.
-
For me no. I played gta five and it was fun but it got stale quick.

Editado por bFLY: 7/4/2016 7:03:45 PMThe story is good, offline mode is fun. I live in LA, born and raised here so it's cool to drive around and recognize streets and buildings from my city and cause havoc in them. The online seems fun, but all the cool cars and yachts are so expensive that I lost all motivation to play and get enough money for them. If they drop a big DLC for offline mode, I'd definitely play it. I may try the heists, I just have to find friends to play it with.

1 RespuestaI absolutely loathe V. I preordered and went to the midnight release, never again for a Rockstar game. I won't go into it because it's be a long comment, but objectively the game just isn't that good. It's multiplayer will never live up to IV.

3 RespuestasGta4 was 10 times better

It was great at first but now its stale. The updates they add are shallow and only useful if you have $$$. They need to add something actually fun into the game.
-
The most fun I've had playing GTA was when I was like 7 and knew nothing about the story and just went and messed around in the city

Editado por mckechnie13: 7/4/2016 11:33:39 AMThe first time you play the main story is good and I did really enjoy it. If you're playing with friends online then heists can be fun but I found myself getting bored very fast online. The updates with ridiculously overpriced cars etc made me lose allot of respect for rockstar. Yes you can grind heists for money but they are pushing people towards buying shark cards. I never thought rockstar would put microtransactions into their game for fake money to buy cars/houses I game. Anybody that has been on someone's yacht will realise they are ripping you off. Can't remember how much a yacht is but it's something ridiculous. The yacht does absolutely nothing and serves no purpose and is purely cosmetic and will cost you about 35-30£ of real money or weeks of grinding. Gta3 and vice city will always be the best.

Gta 5 is a cool game but obviously that any of the versions for this generation of consoles or pc are better, as it offers more in terms of gaming content, not to Brag, but some of the stuff They've addedd throughout the Last year was suggested by me 😉 overall its a cool game altough it is lacking in story Mode. The original plans made by rockstar included san fierro and las venturas but the ps3 couldn't handle the amount of data. There's a small chance They'll add them in the upcoming dlc that is supposed to give continuity to story mode. Still i am more curious to see how bungie is going to further develop destiny's story

Editado por CaptainSaveahoe2: 7/4/2016 8:13:47 AMSingleplayer is boring after 2 weeks. Online can entertain you for months and even years later you come back and check out new stuff. There's a lot to do. Your friends leaving after 30 mins doesn't mean it's not great. Your friends probably just have enough. You're -blam!-ing late to the party. It's been out since almost 3 years. If you are that type of person who can't enjoy multiplayers without your little friends than Online isn't for you.

Well that's what you get for being a late purchaser
