We all know the user who claims that earth is flat. I have seen said user mention the fact that rivers somewhere in India flow against earths rotation as proof of a flat earth. Fine. Here's a bigger question I think we should all (specific person intended) contemplate: why would rivers on a flat earth flow at all? Why isn't every river just a freaking pond?!?

You know those people are kidding, right?

8 RespuestasA better question is why KP believes that the Earth accelerates at 9.8m/s^2. If that were true, we would reach lightspeed by 1771 Assuming Earth started at year 0

This has been bothering me since the first time I found that the earth was flat. And I have the answer for all of you
succ
Not flat as in only 1km thick ground across the whole world, flat as in straight.

Wow you make no sense

6 RespuestasWhile I take everything KP says with a pinch of salt, flat earthers don't think the earth is super flat, there are still mountains and valleys, hence rivers flows like normal. They simply think the world is a giant disc, not a ball. So yeah, unfortunately not the best question to ask. A better one which KP won't answer, is what would happen if I stood exactly on the equator, faced due east, put my compass away and walked in a perfect straight line. If the earth is a ball (which it is) I'd end up where I started, but according to his belief I would surly end up at the south pole or the edge of the world.

The earth is cylindrical

Really? This says otherwise https://i.imgur.com/RK30Ian.jpg

The Earth is neither flat, nor is it precisely spherical. The water and atmosphere confuse our eyes to accept it as a sphere.
Furthermore, [San'shyuum]'s Earth is a construct by beings that, given what is known, wouldn't've been. Although current evidence suggests that we may well be the ones who would create such things, when we are sufficiently advanced. Train sets, among other micro-scale versions of places and things, are but the beginning.
Must be quite a site to reach the end of the earth.

Because water just flows no matter if the earth is flat or not.
-
Because your moms so fat. . .
that she is physicaly larger than other people.

also all the water flows toward her from gravity.
I sexually identify as planet Earth

27 RespuestasOk. I told u this question is ridiculous and here's why: the Flat Earth also has elevation and topography. Water flows down hill. I could equally ask u why the oceans on a round ball world do not flow to the south pole. In reality, water on the Flat Earth does not get smashed into ponds because its upward acceleration through space is not great enough to "smash" anything.

If the earth was flat you'd be able to see the coast of the US all the way from the European coast with the naked eye.

9 RespuestasEven though I believe in a round earth, your argument is kinda stupid.

Water is very stubborn. It's likes to go where it wants.
