You do realize it's possible to play the objective and stay positive right? There's no sense in being suicidal to play the objective.

Yes good point, but most people can't. Like me.

Sometimes getting the objective isn't as important as staying alive. If everyone is always rushing to the objective but not playing as a team that's when you lose and things get chaotic. That's also when you get the guy that looks like Rambo. People that play without keeping their kd at least in part of their mind will lose more matches.

That's where worrying about your KD comes in. People don't understand that you will just respawn. Dying has no affect on how you play. (I'm not hating on you)

I don't think you understand that being negative means they are getting more kills than you. You get 100 points for a kill. In control with two zones you get 150. If you're dying more than you're killing you'll lose the match. One or two people with around a .8 isn't going to hurt much. But three or four people with a negative kd and you're going to lose. I will say that in zone control and rift your kd doesn't matter quite as much. In rift if you're carrying the spark then it really doesn't matter at all. There is a degree at which being negative doesn't matter a lot. If you want to win more often then being positive is best usually.
