Stop using kd to justify your arguements.
Whenever people argue about the crucible or how well you did at something kd always shows up. Well guess what, it proves nothing. Whenever people say stuff like "says guy with .8 kd" that doesn't immediately prove I suck. It could mean I only get stuck with red bar warriors. It could mean I am genuinely bad at a single part of the game. Or, it just means I hate PvP and stopped playing after having some bad matches. Personally, I never bought Destiny for the PvP. I bought it so I could murder aliens with my friends, not watch my favorite weapons get nerfed into submission and face a cruel, lag-filled version of Edge of Tomorrow. So, stop thinking you're some kind of PvP God because other people don't have good kds. After all, they are nothing more than a number on a screen.
By the way, git gud is a sh!tty argument because I don't care how good I am, I'm just saying don't think you're so much better because you have a different number on a screen.

This means in classic pvp games, the opposing team gets more points from killing you than you contribute to your team, so effectively you are a hindrance to your team winning. I feel as if K.D should be good for everyone who complains about what needs a buff and nerf i mean if you have a 0.x K.D i dont believe you have the right as a player to say something is unfair that just ruins the game

My K/D is what it is for a variety of reasons. It does show skill to an extent. But for those, like me, who like to play around with load outs and experiment with different weapon combinations (some of which may turn out to be extremely bad), then it gets tough to justify the skill of a player through their K/D.

You're right, KD doesn't necessarily mean you're lacking skill.... It can also mean you're dumb and get outsmarted by other players easily. Great point bud! You're bringing the gaming community together with each post!

I agree that it is annoying when people use the argument 'you have a low KD, therefore your opinion is meaningless'. On the other hand, it's equally annoying when people claim that KD does not matter when clearly the number of times you die vs the number of times you kill an opponent is basically the core of PVP. But I think it's fair enough to call someone out if they are claiming they go round slaying every time they play and they are actually running a low KD.

16 RespuestasFirst of all, if one has a higher kd than another it usually means they understand the crucible aspects much more, it's not all gun skill ya know. Therefore when arguing against a 3.0kd person im sure he or she has enough knowledge of the overall state of crucible and understands why some nerfs just can't happen or it will ruin the balance. This CAN NOT be said the same for under 1.0 K/D's unless they have had endless (and I mean endless) hours played. Having a high KD is for credibility. So please, if you're under a 1.0 kd and have been playing for 50k+ kills, it really is time to "git gud".
