I had a job at 14 with family. Before that, I mowed lawns and took care of a neighbor's animals. I also did extra stuff around the house any time I could just to earn a little here and there. When I was a kid I saved up and bought a nintendo. It took dedication and a lot of saving but I did it. I have zero sympathy for kids that say they can't afford things. Maybe a family legitimately can't swing a game system; does that mean an entire company needs to hold back their product line? Absolutely not. These systems and these games are a privilege. There's no right to continue to play just as it is with any form of entertainment. If you truly can't afford to do what you want take it as a life lesson and apply it to your work ethic. You'd be surprised what a motivated person can do regardless of their age.
