IMO, it's better if you deny the heavy instead of waiting too long and letting the enemy team gank you into oblivion. So if I see red in my radar, I don't wait, so that the enemy team doesn't get it.

Sadly, I sympathize more times than I want to count. Sometimes I can see my team surrounding the drop. I'm thinking someone has to see me, but nooooo! All gone in a matter of seconds. I can understand if enemies are getting near, but with no one in sight?! Come on guys!

1 RespuestaI must apologise to my team mates. I don't play much crucible, so I never realized that if I open the heavy crate with no one else around they miss out, I thought the ammo just sat there for them for a while. From now on I shall wait as long as I can before opening the crate.

1 Respuestalol....all the time. If I KNOW there's no enemies around, I wait until a couple teammates can make it over to get the heavy. I HATE when others don't do the same.

1 RespuestaI just entered an ongoing game to see I spawned near the heavy right when it was available and waited for a full ten seconds before grabbing it- my whole team got the heavy and we destroyed the enemy- please everybody wait for your teammates unless your radar is full of very close red everywhere then deny it to the enemy

1 RespuestaStopped going for heavy like a year ago now I just let the goons fire rockets at each other and go for special, or titan slam heavy or just sit back and snipe....no heavy for you or you or you its alot more fun.

In normal PvP when I've been a little more salty that some didn't wait as I'm about get to them to get heavy if they got a rock I help them have a misadventure ;)

1 RespuestaHappened to me last night on Black Shield. Defended outside heavy from 2 enemies but traded with the last guy. By the time I respawn my entire team is there and I'm 2 meters from where it'll drop for me. Guy grabs it and I do the disagree emote to him. He dances and promptly get a rocket to his face.

1 RespuestaI love those times when I would fight off multiple enemy players at the heavy only to see my team be across the map from me. Being a good guy I'd sit and wait for at least a handful of them to get to me, pick up heavy, instantly get rocketed or supered.

I try really hard to wait. Only way I'll take it solo is if the enemy is closing in and I know I'm going to lose what happens next: I take it, I die, and nobody gets it. Actually, with my Defender, my bubble usually charges around then, so I throw it up over a heavy ammo crate, then turn loose a legion of teammates with heavy ammo and overshields. With luck, I can nab some Support points.
