Notice many of FPS that we used to play like mw2 and bf3 all had something in common... all or a majority of the guns were good. Instead of nerfing every gun in the game besides that one gun that every one is going to use because it's the only decent one, try buffing all of them to being extremely good and viable. That is the best way to destroy a meta. Make everything good. Seriously let's bring every weapon and arch type in destiny to its past glory and I guarantee every one will be satisfied. Crucible will be insanely fun because not one gun is on top of all and you have more variety. The best fun we have is when we are using a beast gun that suits our play style and is actually good. Let's stop having these cycles of gun metas until every gun takes 50+ bullets to kill at a set rate of fire. Old suros, old last word, old vex, old thorn but just minor tweaks to the DoT. Les have a meta that involves every weapon type in its prime.

In BF or CoD the guns are basically all the same. That's why they all worked. Destiny has a couple more layers. It isn't super complicated, but you have to stop and think when patching stuff. If the first patch after vanilla to Autos was less heavy, destiny would probably be a LOT better now.

Completly agree
-
Yes please
-
Except the vex, keep nerfing that
-
Agreed, and reforging

Editado por Eroc: 6/30/2016 8:20:18 PMThey don't care about making weapons balanced. They care about breaking whatever is most used. They want to force you to re-grind as often as possible in order to reduce any observations around lack of content.

I agree they destroyed this game, should've just left things alone increased other weapons

1 RespuestaThey ruined the doctrine. I dont want to play anymore

2 RespuestasBump. Destiny's PVP is a several levels below garbage. Many games have better PVP due to better balance and weapon/ability consistency. Destiny's PVE is also becoming garbage, mainly due to the constant changes to weapons and abilities for PVP. When you nerf everything across the board, your going to wind up with a game that is really not fun to play - like we have right now. Nobody who has lived through 2 years of this kind of bad game management is going to pay more money to keep having this happen to them. Stop nerfing. Undo all the nerfs. Separate PVP from PVE, and start the balancing over to make everything viable in PVP.
-
I think what they should start considering is to stop nerfing weapons and classes so it doesnt keep afecting pvp and pve a like and start working on putting guardians stronger to resist more shots or supers that way the pvp side stays balanced while pve stays the same with the guns just as they are. I love playing both so Im talking as a pvp and pve fan.
-
I agree some. I think they should all be even but maybe not to the level you are stating. The vex was unreal before the first change. Suros was fine and TLW would be fine because the others would keep up. However Thorn was still too much. Its crap now but maybe close to what it was would be good. But I do agree make them mostly even and this issue goes away.

4 RespuestasEditado por Trapped on Mars: 7/1/2016 3:14:17 PMThis meta will fail. This game cannot be set up in the same way as CoD. Destiny is a much slower paced game and low time to kills can be insanely frustrating as you don't have a ton of escapability to make up for the slow pacing. Back in the thorn/TLW/Suros/Vex meta, there was never one time in the game where I actually felt like I was outplayed. Most of the time that I died, it was because my opponent saw me first. That is exactly what CoD and Battlefield are like. I don't know about you, but I really don't want Destiny to become another generic shooter just like everything else...

2 RespuestasAgree 100%. Buff something to counter a meta instead of nerfing it. However, BungleVision stated themselves that they want it this way. One of their favorite reasons for any nerf is because things are "overused" or "It's dominating"... bull shit.

5 RespuestasEditado por SaltyJack591: 6/30/2016 8:17:59 PMWell, the problem is this is a loot based game. It's why players grinded the game for 2000 hours to gat a Ghorn. You have to have meta weapons in order for the PvE part of the game to survive. Sure Bungie could make all weapons have the same TTK with respect to their optimum range. But then you would only need one weapon of each type and we would have Halo which is not loot based and the PvE crowd would leave. In comparison there are more players that want that loot based PvE experience and don't really care about balance. The best weapons are the carrots that are chased and without it there is not point to playing the game thru more than once. In so doing Bungie would lose a lot of customers and be left with the PvP crowd which complains even if everyone had the same weapon that it still isn't fair. Simple cosmetic differences are not enough to entice PvE players to grind either. Now I play both modes, I prefer PvE but I will play PvP. I'm not looking for balance in PvP. To the contrary I am looking for that golden apple that might give me the edge in both modes. Remember when Deej said that playing with the same gun for 10 years would be boring. Well he's right because that's what real balance would bring to the game. All guns would be the same, sure they would be fair but really boring.
-
I understand what you are saying but if you just make everything have a fast TTK then it changes the game and personally I think would be negative but I could be wrong
-
1 RespuestaInstead of saying stop nerfing how about give ideas on what to buff a personal one I would like is fusion rifles to not disappear when they fire off and you are killed another one is low rate of fire autos and pluses could use a damage boost and some medium autos could use a stability boost

3 RespuestasPvP is Bunghole's scapegoat for artificially inflating game time in PvE. God knows it's not by publishing engaging content!

Editado por ZHX1138: 6/30/2016 11:45:12 PMWhat it really comes to is that they should have just focused attention on Destiny 2 rather then making the final Expansion because you know this is being done because they are releasing another game breaking expansion right? So they have to make initial adjustments so that the DLC will work right in their eyes.

I agree trip mine is so useless now and lighting bomb on Titan I if to use in a completely different way from how I did before the patch.
-
Or maybe a pvp game mode to the equivalent of swat or hardcore from halo and cod. Those are the only game modes I play in those games anyway.

When the average TTK is so low, you don't have to balance things!!
Model 1887

Go away scrub
Your absolutely right! Nerf fusion rifles!
