so...for the last 20 minutes on cosmodrome, in the area you spawn in at... a constant string of 'attention, contacting server' popping up over the bottom of my hud..which actually holds useful information at all times, obscuring my useful information, and thus causing 5 deaths due to not knowing my ammo count as for once I was actually using weapons that dont have a readily visible/legible ammo counter...and unless one is a complete greenhorn newbie to the game, let me ask this...who actually flipping dies on cosmodrome these days?
I'll bet my hat, my topgun hat no less, that when I go to the moon, I'll experience this same thing. its become the observed pattern right after a patch, for the server to be unusually...squirrelly, well, more so than normal.
my internet is rock solid on a 25mb up/down connection, no other internet connected devices bar this computer are presently online, and last I checked, writing a post for a message board used so little bandwidth as to not even really warrant a mention.
so...I pose to my fellow forum trawlers, aside from weather induced network congestion..given the storm front thats parked itself along the PA/NJ border, what other possible causes are there and can it be fixed, barring a bankrupting donation of glimmer to the server ghost?

I know, right?
