Is it worthwhile to have more than one character? I only have a Warlock that I've been playing
-
Yes. I only played a warlock from week one until Dark Below. Then I gradually built up a hunter and titan - having another two classes, six subclasses, and so much cool gear, adds a lot of variety to the game and gives me so much more to do if I want to.
-
You level up way faster man. It's basically the numbers game. More chances at loot= more loot (this law is not absolute though lol)
-
Depends on how much you play. I have all 3 and try to play all equally now, because the game is stale, so i would say for diversity and to enjoy the game fully, play multiple.
-
I think it is because you can experience all the subclass. I'm liking gunslinger in PvE right now. Also I really don't main one class but warlock was my first and still my favorite.
-
2 RespuestasMe personally I find this game boring if I only play one class or subclass. It's why I constantly switch around for fun. I go through all 9 subclasses a week and it keeps the game fresh.
-
Hell yeah! 3x iron banner runs, raids, night falls and trials!
-
Bungee encourages this thought so it is the new direction.
-
if every1 plays all subclasses, we probably dont have that much nerf posts on this forum xD. Hunters and titans are lovely classes aswell, u really need to give them a try
But not.everybody has time to play that much as I do, so I can understand the situation
No, if your already max light level. The alts are good to help your main level up in light level though.
-
-
Yeah cause some classes offer different things
-
I have one of each character I like the variety of the different classes and subclasses
-
I say yes and no. The playstyles of the 3 toons are very different, and very fun. But I gave up my hunter and titan, simply because it becomes a chore running NF, CoE, PoE, raids, etc e times a week. I got severely burned out, took several months off, and downsized to 1 toon.
-
It's definitely worth it. You'll be able to keep things fresh if you do.
-
Yeah, can be good fun to switch things up once and a while.

1 RespuestaIts kind of like only playing a third of the game, and giving up on 6/9 of the opportunities. Don't main one character, MASTER THEM ALL>\!!
-
Yes it is. Playing with just one character can get quite stale after awhile.
-
Why wouldn't you.
-
It's fun to have multiple characters. For example maybe your friends want to run a raid but you've already done so with your warlock, being able to switch to a titan or hunter will give you more incentive to keep playing. You can practically apply this example to all activities.
-
yeah with the infusion system in place now it makes it easier to increase light level and more opportunities for drops
-
I have all three started with worlock and loved playing worlock but after time with other two Titan and Hunter starting to like them more ex Titan.
-
Heck yes a good change of pace every now and again keeps things fresh
-
1 RespuestaAbsolutely. Just for the sheer glory of experiencing all three classes. Also it is SO fun to create the characters... I really hope they include character recreation and more customization in Destiny 2. But yes! Do it! Do it now Guardian! Grinding from 1 - 20 is tough, but do it with a fireteam, either campaign and bounties / patrols or Crucible all day and you'll be at 20 before sundown! Best if luck to you Guardian, and if I can offer any advice it is this: don't be afraid to really love the other classes, eventually you'll find a perfect balance between them all. See you starside, Guardian!

After playing Titan exclusively since Before HoW I've recently really enjoyed playing as other classes. Once I get a high enough light level you can swap end game lvl weapons between characters it becomes a lot of fun to have the subclass ability variety
