Dude starts a thread about a character being OP in Overwatch, and Blizzard immediately responds with an agreement, tells us what their plan is, tells us when it will be implemented, and explains why they chose that date.
Imagine if Bungie would be that transparent. No more "We'll put it on the list" or "I'll bring it up with the dev team" only for it to continue to be complained about for months, and finally it gets fixed in a surprise patch out of nowhere. No, straight up, they let us know the business right away.
Thoughts?

How dare you expect swift, transparent, and diligence responses from Bungivision. How dare you....

2 RespuestasBlizzard is way bigger and better then Bungie. Result, nerf fusion rifles.
-
The difference being Blizzard fixes their games for the better. Blizzard is pretty much the anti-Bungie.
-
9 RespuestasBungie has simply lost touch with the playerbase. As a result, they simply don't know how to communicate effectively to a large audience.
-
Maybe it's because most of the team is fresh out of college and are still learning. Or a shitty engine.
-
Are you really comparing these 2 companies?
-
9 RespuestasEvery time Bungie does nerf something there are 200 threads complaining about that. It does not matter what they do, how they communicate it or any of a number of other factors, this community is a collection of bitches and what bitches do is bitch.
-
1 RespuestaThe company is probably in total disarray. They lost a $2.5 million dollar bonus for a reason. The game failed to deliver, and still continues to fail. The creative lead CJ Cowan left, music composer Marty O''Donnell is removed from the company and WINS like a $237,500.00 lawsuit against Bungie, and Bungie CEO Harold Ryan gets replaced. What the hell is going on over there? The perfect storm of mismanagement, greed, and incompetence. They cannot effectively communicate to their fanbase because they have no idea what they are doing in the first place. Grimoire cards are still stupid. The story is nonexhistent. PvP is still unbalanced.

5 RespuestasBlizzard is on the Nerf-Train too I see. Torb's turret doesn't need a nerf..it needs a range reduction. I'm simply amazed at the distance that it hits attackers. Hey, Team Fortress 2 has the same basic class(Engineer) and theirs can pick up and carry the turret to a new location AND build a health/ammo station to keep them alive. If TF2 can pull it off then so can Blizz without a 30% nerf!
-
3 RespuestasWell. It's quite simple. Destiny is a far more complex game to balance than Overwatch.
-
4 RespuestasFrom playing Destiny since Day 1 and seeing the absolute joke this game has become as far as "balance" (I literally cannot stand hearing the word "balance" in any scenario now thanks to Destiny crybabies trying to justify their nerf requests) I hate seeing any posts about nerfs in any game now. I'm mentally ruined thanks to the crying ax wounds on Destiny. I play some Overwatch when I can but for me it's a secondary "I'm bored" kinda game right now. DOOM is consuming all my time. That said, when I get on, I destroy with Soldier 76 or whatever his name is since he is your basic FPS guy. I never once noticed Tor being some "problem" and never thought that of Bastion either. So, my anecdotal evidence is that this is just more crying on Reddit as usual from people losing to something. But hey, maybe I am wrong as again, I don't have a ton of play time on Overwtach yet.
-
9 RespuestasIt's easy to balance a game when it's only pvp based. Argument null and void.
-
1 RespuestaSomeone needs to deliver a flurry of slaps to Luke smith on a daily basis Dude is crazy out of touch
-
9 RespuestasBut that's Overwatch, that game is like super popular and will probably get more followers than League of Legends by 2020. Destiny has a small community in comparison........... sadly :(
-
Overwatch is kind of a joke though.....
-
2 RespuestasEven Bungie employees say management is terrible. They spend more time in meetings than working on the actual game, and never are given a direction as far as the game goes. On the plus side they get to drink beer at work FOR FREE.
-
Damn that 30% Torb nerf :c That sounds terrible, jesus I mained Torb in open beta but have yet to pick up the game due to limited cash, I was already considering holding off until I have a PC and just buying it there for improved controls but maybe still buying it on console in the meantime since my brothers can play it, but if they're going to be balanced sifferently then I'm just gonna skip out on console all together
And Yeah, Bungie is shit at communicating with the community

21 RespuestasEditado por ABefuddledLion: 6/27/2016 7:11:42 PMHahahahahah and instead we will get: It has come to our attention that another major FPS has put in place a damage nerf for their turret type class. As a result we are making the following changes: -Taken psions will now quadruple instead of simply doubling -Sleeper simulant now bounces an extra 50 times (with a guarantee of headshotting the guardian who fired it) -Dregs now wield infinite shoulder charge -Trip mines now announce themselves as explosive to all enemy players and will detonate and kill teammates -Shoulder charge can now be aimed and requires no sprinting. We also buffed the damage slightly as we saw it fail to kill that one guy that one time -Touch of Malice now does double damage to the user and half damage to the enemy -Variks will not grow impatient every 8 seconds and anyone inside the ward of dawn will have 5 exploder shanks spawn around them. We hope that this fixes the issues we have been seeing and that you continue to play our fantastic game

5 RespuestasAll any developer has to do to improve their game nowadays is basically think "what would Bungle do?" then pretty much do the exact opposite and their on to a winner.
-
Granted
-
4 RespuestasBungie is a terrible company
-
Bungie could also learn a thing or two about how to not have shit servers and banning cheaters from them.
-
"Stay tuned next week so that we can tell you to wait until the next week, and the next..." - Bungie
-
If it makes you feel any better, Ubisoft is less transparent with its customers than even Bungie is.
-
So is every other activision related franchise just full of kick arse support except bungies? (Serious question)
