Turns out when the bar above your ammo count turns yellow, you can activate this thing called a "Super" by pressing the left and right bumpers at the sane time. This "Super" can then be used to easily destroy enemies to generate little glowing balls called "Orbs of Light". These "Orbs of Light" help charge your allies' "Supers" which can be exploited to generate more "Orbs of Light" to keep the "Super" train chugging along.
Bonus fun fact: I can totally see when your Super is up and you're just refusing to use it because you need to save it for the [i]entirety[/i] of the Strike for some reason only to not even use it on the final boss. I literally created four Supers worth of orbs for you during the entire Strike. There's no way you didn't get one Super to use and then immediately get another from my orbs.

1 RespuestaSometimes I like to save mine (though not for too long) for spots in each level where I know I can smash a lot of guys at once with death from above. No better feeling than air raiding a big group of bad guys and popping seven orbs.
