Bungie already addressed this. And they banned people for using that setup

Nope, never happened. Quite a few twitchers and youtubers use K&M. Some of them have been featured in the interviews in the news section, and have admitted that they use K&M. Also, nowhere does it say that M&K can't be used. The only thing bannable is modified gaming equipment (consoles and controllers). There's a clip from Rapp000 currently trending where he gets 10k points in a control game who has a youtube channel and is well known for using a Xim 4. He has [u]never[/u] been banned. Despite having played the game from the beginning, having a public youtube channel and being open about using a Xim 4. Back in your box.

That's up to the forum moderators as to why they removed the topic. Moderators and mentors are volunteers not bungie staff, they can't ban people from the game.
