I understand to a lot of people dropping a few hundred bucks seems daunting but it's not as bad as you think. Here are some easy ways you can get a current gen console and it not feel like such a hit. -not sure about Xbox but I'm sure like with TTK Playstation will have a RoI bundle. The TTK bundle came with TTK legendary edition (vanilla game and all the DLCs) every PS4 comes with a mic (really an ear bud you plug into the controller but it works) and 30 day trial of Playstation + . So everything you need in one box 'Yeah but that doesn't help me get the $!' True so you can -by the time RoI comes out places like Toys R Us and Walmart will have layaway, if they don't they will by October. So you can easily make small payments over 2-3months. -places like gamestop do trade ins on consoles so you can tr add in your 360 or PS3 and get some off a PS4 or XboxOne. 'Yeah, I got a new console but now I gotta buy the game all over again?' -if you pass up on the RoI bundle (and I am fairly certain Playstation will have one) places like gamestop do trade ins on games. Last year you could trade in the vanilla destiny and get the legendary edition of TTK for super cheap. EDIT - people are saying RoI won't have a bundle, fine. But they still sell the TTK PS4 bundle which has the vanilla game, TDB, HoW and TTK (as well as a mic and 30 days free of ps+) For the record I think games should have digital downloads.like most movies now or some way to link it to your account as long as you're still on the same company's console and the game is available on those 2 consoles.
