New Glitch Found: "Embrace The Void" broken by Swords
While soloing Challenge of Elders this week, I stumbled upon a glitch that I haven't seen addressed at all:
It appears as though the perk "Embrace the Void" on Voidwalkers, which is supposed to trigger Energy Drain and start health regeneration, only half works if you have a sword equipped, completely ignoring the Life Steal portion of the perk
I've included a short video showing the glitch in action. You'll see me getting kills with my grenades with and without my sword equipped, and Life Steal only triggers when it is stowed.
I did some additional testing on Earth Patrol and found this glitch happens with and without Nothing Manacles equipped, and whether the sword is Legendary or Exotic
While I can see how situational this can be, I do hope that this glitch gets fixed soon.
Edit: Apparently this glitch also prevents Apotheosis Veil's health regeneration from triggering if a sword is equipped while casting a Super.

5 RespuestasThanks for bringing this to our attention. It's a really specific bug with healing perks not working that is caused by the "Tempered Light" perk on Swords. 6 Respuestasit looks like the game cant access these abilities because the sword occupies the melee ability slot, which is where it would normally "check" it to add them.

Swords increase your armor... aka max health. So the bug is likely related to that.

If it involved silver and/or was a benefit to players, it would have been fixed a long time ago

3 Respuestasin 6 months bungle will indeed acknowledge this problem exists but will be inable to fix it in the games current state. this bug will be fixed in destiny 2 though so preorder now and get a black version of no land beyond

Glitch , looks like the times it didn't proc was because you were on your cool down timer.

That's y the helmet doesn't work. I tried with rocket launcher I get health back.

4 RespuestasMy guess would be because Energy Drain is your melee. Equipping a sword takes away your melee attack.

Hmmm. I solo'd three times with Voidwalker and a sword equipped. Didn't notice a problem. I'm not saying it didn't happen, I just didn't notice if it did.
