I don't understand why everyone thinks that the launch auto rifle meta was good. There were no other primary classes that could even compete. That's boring. I didn't enjoy only being able to use auto rifles to be competitive.

I did, auto rifles were/ are the best weapon type.

Variety is a positive thing.

I always loved fatebringer until they buffed bad juju, then that became my favorite weapon. And I am OK with auto rifles being good, I don't want them nerfed into oblivion like they were for a time. But I also want the other weapon types to be capable of countering them, which just wasn't the case in the launch meta
