I'm looking to get another shoot and loot game while I wait for RoI to release. I was thinking of picking up the Division but I've seen very mixed reviews. I just wanted to know what everyone's honest opinion/review of it is.

Its reaaaallly grindy and the Dark Zone which was the biggest draw for some people has been in a steady decline.

I thought it was amazing the first two weeks after that and reaching a good level, you hit a brick wall and there's nothing to do whatsoever. You can try different builds but there's so many things to account for that it becomes so grindy, and unenjoyable

The campaign and first few hours of end-game are great, but you go head-first into a brick wall shortly after that. It kinda just grinds down to the fun, but controller-breaking Dark Zone, or Incursions. (Raids, pretty much) Unless you've got a good team to run with, there's just not that much to do. You can grind High Value Targets, but those are essentially, "Go over there, shoot 20 people, come back." You do that 3 times and it pretty much forces you back into a group situation, literally doing the exact same thing you did 3 times prior, to enemies with bigger health bars. Despite all my whining here, it is a fun game. Its end game just makes Destiny's end game look..."good." :P

1 RespuestaI enjoyed going through the story missions the first time. Definitely designed to be played co op. Can do the missions solo, but it's not as much fun. After going through the campaign i thought it got boring really quick. The end game missions just give enemies lots of health, no fun. Dark zone after getting the "super" skills is broken beyond repair, avoid it. Campaign can definitely last a 20-25 hours though, so if you could get it for a good price it might be worth it just for that.

Tom pretty much sums up my opinion on the game. its fun at times but it is very repetitive and very grindy. One could argue that it's grindier than destiny

4 RespuestasFirst off there really is no single player content. You can beat the story solo yet the entire end game is team based. I got a good 50 or 60 hours in before I called it quits. I'm a solo player, so this game definitely wasn't right for me, but if you enjoy playing with a team then it's pretty fun.
