I thoroughly agree. Though I do love my Smite of Merain with Firefly, so much fun. The Year 2 Raid weapons are indeed lacklustre at best. I think the trouble comes when you try to make these Raid Weapons unique without rendering all other weapons in the game obsolete due to there vast superiority in all situations. That was the one thing I did not like about Y1 raid weapns; the lack of weapon variety both in PvE and PvP, but at the same time I miss the unique feel in Y2. I think it is trying to get that balance that proves difficult.
