Indeed. It comes with the connectivity of the internet and the exponentially increasing expectations gamers have had about games over the years. Every time a company tries to push boundaries, make something better quality and bigger, it just keeps setting the bar higher and higher. It's to the point where people devote their lives to games or hinge their sanity on them to escape from their circumstances.

Well, it works like any addiction you know? I mean some have alcohol, some others shopping, some others food, some others like something else, maybe the point it's not what they're throwing at the developer/provider/creator/etc but why they do it in the first place
