Poor man's grasp of malok
I've been hearing all this talk of how amazing is grasp of malok. Since I don't have the patience for pve grinding at all, I looked through my vault for a similar gun.
I found Skorri's revenge and reforged it until I got counterbalance, braced frame and outlaw.
I got to say it was very fun to use. Can't take it to IB but now I'm tempted to farm.
Anybody else know of a grasp of malok like weapon?
Edit: found another one in my vault called coiled hiss 1919 with feeding frenzy, fitted stock and third eye.

2 RespuestasIf you are really desperate, you can run the Abyss on Crota hard on all three characters... You might get Oversoul Edict which is a carbon-copy of the GoM. It comes with Full Auto and a minor increase to stability.

In 1 hr you coulda had 6 or 7 grasps from nf farming. Vault is full of 335 primaries now. You missed your chance. Now wait for omnigul again.

Year two huckleberry to the grasp would be the Aegis of the reef...although I would not refer to it as a poor mans grasp with the right perks.

It got good right after the first ever pulse rifle buff when ppl complained about how terrible bad juju was. U get it from gatekeeper in vault of glass. Finally got a great grasp last week so I'm retiring the timepiece.

Praedyth's Timepiece or Oversoul Edict. GoM is even the same model as OE, just a reskin.

3 RespuestasDelete all you weapons in the vault and then suicide off the tower 7 times wearing the glowhoo shader as a Titan. Then kill crota with a melee. Not the sword. A melee. Then play omnigul nightfall solo. Do this at least 400 times and you might get a grasp of malok like gun. Hope this helps! ;)

There is a blue pulse rifle in ttk which can be basically as good as grasp just one less perk called the psi Alba IV for all the people who just avoid rare weapons....

I still have my skorri with counter balance, high caliber rounds and third eye.... it effing melts.

Theres a blue pulse rifle with the same fire rate as grasp and can get full auto

I have the year 1 vendor Coiled Hiss. Counter Balance, Perfect Balance, Feeding Frenzy. It was my go-to weapon in year 1. Now I'm more used to my PDX. I'll still use my Coiled Hiss for fun, but my PDX is too OP to put away.

Aegis of the Reef is really darn good, I'm kind of kicking myself for feeding it to my Nirwin's Mercy. Ah well, perks weren't very good anyway...

Psi alba. It's a blue with identical stats. It can roll with counterbalance and braced frame but no third perk. It's a beautiful gun. I had to shard mine since I was running out of vault space.

2 RespuestasI have a Skorri's with CB and BF and it is pretty awesome. The only real difference between Skorri's and the Grasp is one kicks left, the other right. Oh, and Skorri's reloads slower.

I have a decent Grasp, so I won't use it outside of just screwing around, though. If you couldn't get a grasp, keep an eye out for that gun. It's very similar (obviously a legendary will have better overall stats and more perks, but it's still pretty damn good).

5 RespuestasOversoul Edict. It's the same gun except the Oversoul can be fired in full auto. A friend of mine wreks with that gun in normal crucible and does actually pretty good with it in IB.
