why am I forced to pvp if i want better sword?
Bungie dropped the ball on this one. Why would i want to be in confined space to wait for heavy ammo to spawn? Only to be killed over and over again to gain 25 pvp kills by sword?? This is not fun! In fact to really sucks!
Why couldn't be and either or thing . either 2 pvp quests or 2 pve quest.
I will spend many unhappy days. And thoughts of quitting a game i really like.
The thought of fight other bozo's and jerks is really unappealing to me. But what really gets me. If I am forced to do this!

I got the bolt caster on the normal quest. I bought the other legendary swords and got an easy ass quest.

You can use just the hilt and get kills that way. They still count as sword kills

Inferno + Sword hilt = Exotic sword

I completed this quest in two Rumble games on my Warlock. Glide pairs really well with the sword. Try to be on a warlock for the quest and make sure the sword you are going for is the one you really want. I still haven't got my third sword.

You must've never done the thorn or chaperone quests. At least you don't lose points in the sword quest. (And don't worry, you won't have to do that part of the quest for the other swords).

Same reason others are forced to PVE for a whole bunch of gear. It works both ways.

Kill people with the hilt. Go into mayhem with blink and a sword. It's a lot of fun actually cause heavy drops all the time and sometimes drops from killing people. Honestly it's an easy quest. I thought the farming was more painful than the crucible kills. At least that was mildly entertaining when you get a streak with a sword.

Classic free for all. Or Mayhem Rumble. Both offer Fireteam 1-3 players. Mayhem only runs this week, make it snappy.

1st you can get sword kills with just the hilt (0 heavy ammo) 2nd if you want an exotic you should be well rounded and smart enough to use the weapon well (thats the point) 3rd your the reason people dont take these forums seriously. Use your brain or quite. I hate pvp and suck at it and i did this quest 3x no complaints. Stop whining

Im guessing you are not a year 1 player also you dont need heavy ammo just run around with the hilt. When i did it for all my swords i got about 2-6 kills a game with just the hilt.

Completed all three not a big issue it's funny when u get kills with your hilt and amazingly fun when u r on a streak

Kill with the hilt and actually think about it as fun. It's actually quite hilarious when you get a double kill and kill a golden gun with just the hilt xD
