Oryx's Gender
I've seen this topic spring up on the forums recently and I just wanted to settle the debate.

Started as a female, it's in the Book of Sorrows, the Hive lore is pretty interesting.

Don't apply human genders to alien beings. That's why Seth (the guy who wrote the BoS) did that, he liked giving each race its own culture and rules. Hive go through morphs, base Hive seem to be freely brother or sister, then depending on the morph chosen they can change/stay the same.

It clearly states in the lore than it was a female to male.

Aurash took the King morph, becoming a male named Auryx. When he took the secrets of the Deep from killing Akka, he took the name Oryx, The Taken King.

11 RespuestasOriginal name was auryx (I think I spelled that right) and auryx had two sisters. Something to do with the worm gods required auryx to become male, and auryx turned into oryx. That's why oryx looks like a wizard
