Let me throw a "what if" at you.
Let's say that 3 months ago obama confiscated all fire arms in the U.S.
Fast forward to June 12.
-blam!- head mateem walks in with a suicide vest into a crowded night club and sets it off.
"What" are you gonna blame then?
It sure as hell won't be a "who" since that would be politically incorrect.

37 RespuestasWell it would have been much harder to make a bomb and more readily tracked. Moral of the story at least I wasn't killed by a -blam!-ing legally obtained gun that he had no problems getting. But Americans are to damn stupid inventing bullshit scenarios that HAVENT happened. Mean while not a damn thing has been done about the NRA. Politics left the window a while ago if you think getting LETHAL WEAPONS OF WAR out of regular citizens hands is a bad idea you're batshit crazy.

1 RespuestaI fail to see what having guns would do in this situation.

7 RespuestasEditado por USA_REAPER_XD: 6/22/2016 6:41:18 AMEven with current gun laws and the gun limitations politicians wanna enact to show "gun control" mateen STILL would've been able to purchase "military style/grade" weaponry due to his contractor credtials. They dont care about what could've stopped this attack.... Its just a gun control ploy.... So sad on so many levels
-
Shooting at the dude coud set off the bombs.
-
I don't know how a gun would've prevented that from happening. I mean, sure, I guess somebody could've noticed a guy had a lumpy coat and gone Judge Dredd on his ass, but is that realistic? They could just detonate their vest after being shot, or not give any sort of warning or spectacle.

1 RespuestaThey really should leave Nellis AFB
-
People will blame anything they can. They don't see the goodness and protection that comes from a gun. If one person had a CC permit in Orlando it would have saved a lot of lives
-
Both sides of American politics seem to make stupid hypothetical situations and misunderstand or misinterpret a policy
-
I wouldn't say I'm an anti-Gunner; they're a decent club, I just prefer Liverpool.

3 RespuestasOnly argument for guns is: -blam!- you! I like guns. All other arguments are invalid.
-
3 RespuestasYour thread is based on stupid assumptions and generalizations.

If I understood correctly he bought the gun legally but he acquired/made the bomb illegally. That is the first difference. Also both time he should be checked so that they don't let him in with a gun and a bomb.

3 RespuestasWhat do home-made bombs have to do with guns?

GUNNERS! GET SOME!

5 RespuestasWhy did everyone let some guy with a bomb on his chest walk into a night club?(this is assuming he wasn't concealing it) If you're not stupid you don't need a gun to protect yourself against a suicide bomber. If there were no guns then no shootings would occur. Hundreds of lives would be saved, but you think a huge, unlikely what if question is more important than that? Also, if someone wants to suicide bomb a crowded place they would have the bomb under a jacket so it wouldn't matter if someone had a gun or not, they wouldn't even see the bomb. Everyone would die no matter what.
-
You're right. Drunk people should be given high capacity weapons. That would definitely help with violence.
-
Well I would always blame the person but if guns were harder to get then it would make shootings less likely
-
Seeing as its harder to make a suicide vest, its possible he would have killed himself before using it in public or that he would have been caught by undercover agents while trying to gather the materials. This attack didn't seem like it was months in planning. More like a pissed off closeted homosexual that was able to purchase a gun on a whim. Also, I'm not anti gun.

2 RespuestasA) Slippery Slope B) Wouldn't have happened since he was already on an FBI watch list.

1 RespuestaIf you see a man get run over in the street i bet they are gonna blame it on guns.
-
9 RespuestasI would probably blame the ATF for failing to implement the Safe Explosives Act, passed after 9/11 to restrict the use/possession of explosives without a federal license to use them. Regardless of whether guns are legal or not, explosives are strictly regulated in the US.
-
1 RespuestaI'd blame society and the perp, as I already do.
