It makes a huge difference if a person has 20 kills and no captures. Because if that person is that good they can capture a zone or two he/she would easily increase all points the rest of the team earns across the board. Points are rewarded for capturing and defending. Not your k/d. Its a team objective not rumble. This pertains to any PvP that is objective driven.

having a person that has 20 kills no captures is a "slayer" they help "obj players" that only focus on zones or rifts slayers help clear zones for obj players to cap and push the enemy's team back.
-
Not when the whole team trys to "slay"
-
Exactly. Randoms don't communicate and their primary focus is on not dying (camping) or k/d rather than the objective. This is why pvp can be so frustrating for a lot of people. The try hards focused on their stats and not the overall outcome ruin the experience. I play control a lot. Most losses are due to 1 or 2 random pushing too hard and trying to boost KD. Then the spawns flip and no one grabs the zone to maintain control of the spawn.
-
well then dont play with radoms problem solved build your own team.
-
Your totally focused on me and not comprehending the issue lies with a majority of players on random events. Not everyone will win all the time. People would rather win/lose because they got outplayed not because of a couple of assholes seeking all the glory. The majority of people will not and do not have teams for pvp. It defeats the purpose of other even trying.
-
i understand but thats why you want to play control for example with a full fireteam with a mixture of play styles and people you can communicate with and build chemistry so you wont run into those randoms
-
well if the slayers are good you could win with only one flag but if not thats you're fault for not having designated objs
-
Nope. Yesterday I had a match of 20+ kills and 4 captures. 3 people on my team had 0 captures because they want to try and be "slayers"
-
Not true at. Then tell me how u can win a game of control just by owning one point. Don't tell me it can't be done because my team an I have done it

Editado por Ersatz_Lord: 6/18/2016 10:15:33 PMI never said 1 zone or that it can't be done. The game can and would end sooner if the objective is played correctly. Its more effective playing the objective rather than getting more kills with one zone. Its basic math. Dye less and control more zones. Zone control affects the entire team, not the glory hound. The losses typically happen when the other team has 1 or 2 players with high kills with more control. The same with rift.
