What's wrong with our world
Back 30 years ago we had cars with guns in them at school, we got bullied some, things were hard, when we lost we understood the other one was better and we had to try harder, we didn't get hand outs, if I got picked on I didn't go shoot up a school, I stood up for myself, I don't need a bullet to get a point across, you don't deserve a trophy for losing, this society is raising a generation of wimps

Fewer two parent households. Even in two parent households most of them are those where both parents have full time jobs. Children spend more time with peers and educators than with their own parents so the schools (educators and peers) have more influence on a developing mind, personality and behavior than the parents. However- in families where the parents make sure they spend quality time with their kids even though they both may hold full time jobs their children grow to have better judgement, critical thinking and self reliance.

The problems is that people are getting soft, everybody gets offended by everything. People think they need handouts when they dont, most young people want free college(sanders) but they dont realize that means higher taxes. Im 17 and i dont want free college. I want to work in my life.

Much of the problem with each generation is growing up as children to the previous generation. Another problem is that the average size of the family has been in gradual decline. This results in more "only child" offspring. This tends to result in children that do not have to grow up sharing and that, in turn, can lead to a more self-centered outlook.
