So, usually this friend is a pretty chill guy. He's the guy in the group that always, or tries his very best to, and I appreciate him very much for it, tries to get everyone's spirits up when something like a BS loss pisses everyone off. But yesterday, something was just off about him. He even said dead out loud after insulting another player when he got a snipe on said player, "*laughs* I'm so angry today and I have no idea why."
Anyway, we ended up going flawless on our main characters and he said that he's really just in the mood for crucible. So I suggested, "Why don't we just go for another flawless run on our secondaries?" He seemed so happy that I suggested it and rushed to get on his second character and grab his second card and set of boons. Me and my brother did as well and we started up matchmaking for the second run.
First match, we ended up getting a tryhard team, and I said to them before the match started, "Alright guys, ready up, this teams serious." From this point on, my friend just seemed to become even more angry and just wasn't himself. I asked if he was alright and he never gave an actual answer so I just moved on. But he kept making little mistakes that he didn't make on the first trial run so I told him, " Come on man lets get serious I don't wanna lose the first match." We ended up making a close comeback and winning.
But before the second match started, he did what's probably the most stupid, bone headed thing I have ever seen him do. He infused his queens shotgun into his Telesto. It was at this point that my suspicions that he wasn't ok were solidified in my head. So I asked him, "did you even actually care about going flawless the second time or are you doing this on purpose?" He answered with, "I think it's already been established whether I care or not." This made me upset, I didn't know why he was acting like this or why he was purposefully wasting my time like this. He usually NEVER does this and he's an absolute joy to be around. I mean, I've known the kid for years and I've never seen him act like this. We ended up losing our mercy during the 6th game and he just straight up quit.
I'm I right to be a little upset about this?
Edit: We talked and he said it's a bunch of things but he's definitely back to his normal self compared to yesterday.

1 RespuestaThere is more to life than going flawless and a Queen's shotgum. Trust me!

3 RespuestasI'm guessing you're female? Or 12? One or the other. No adult male would write this post, surely?

Trials can give a bad case of Salty-titis There is no known cure, it will strike again. Either way, not much point being angry or such with him. Didn't do as well, got salty, degraded performance. It happens to the best of us So, he infused Her Champion into Telesto? That's not bad, Her Champion is kinda poopy imo, only worth using if you don't have another shotty with a range perk. Unless its In Times of Need.

Menstrual Cycle. Leave him alone for a bit.

6 RespuestasIf he's not acting himself don't respond with anger. If there's something going on he's not telling you, you just risk pushing him away more. Let it go, give it a minute, and make sure he knows you're willing to listen if he needs it.

1 RespuestaI think your friend probably knows you're mad now anyway won't he?
-
1 RespuestaSeems you are in the wrong here he was hinting for some regular pvp but you wanted to do trials so like a good friend came along. Then was giving more hints he didn't want to do trials but you adding to the fire with gasoline as a friend you should of asked him what he wanted first.
