I saw this post earlier and I just want to say I'm truly sorry for your loss. I'm saddened by losses of people and pets. Forgive me for my lingering. No worries I'm sure death is much better than his life was. It will be exciting to die, like a new adventure! The only problem is the people you leave behind. I'm not talking out of my butt or being edgy here, both my Dad and one of my brothers are dead already and I am only 24.

A couple years back he tried to over dose on Xanax but failed, then he tried to hang himself the first time but they cut him down. The last time, he hung himself again in his girlfriend's attic. He was dead for about 10 minutes when they found him, then the paramedics brought him back... you could smell the death on him man... you don't ever wanna know that smell. He stayed in the hospital for about 2 weeks barely alive but not on life supporr, then we decided to pull the plug. He was an Army Ranger, a veteran who went over to Kurdistan to fight ISIS. He was a good man, but sometimes life doesn't give people a break. He was tired of fighting his own demons. I think it's sad and selfish of us to keep him in that condition because when he hung himself, he wasn't intended on staying alive or being brought back, he wanted to leave this world in peace. It puts me at rest to know that he's traveling the stars now, something he always wished he could've done someday, something he's always wanted to witness.

Outside of the fact that he played Destiny in his free time it doesn't really seem like this is tied in any significant way to Destiny. Also what does his family think knowing he went out in such a way? Did any of you try and help him to the fullest of your ability?
