Sam laughs.
"And he gives me the most of the stuff to make the food, so thank your dad as well."
She says with a smile at Kaebius, her eyes twinkling.

Light smiles, finishing her meal. "Thank you. The food was delicious."

"Alright well if you're not to full I'll go get the cake!" She gets up, leaving.

"Well then... dessert it is..."

Samantha returns with slices of cake on three plates, she sets them down in front of all of them. It looked delicious. White frosting on white cake with some chocolate filling in the center. "There you go." She grabs her own plate and sits, and begins eating as does Aaron

She nods, knowing Aaron loves it as he just eats. Eventually he finishes as everyone else does, leaning back in his chair. "God that was good. Thank you mom and dad for having us today." He says with a smile.

"Don't you kids want to stay over? We have room for you!" Light looks at Aaron. She didn't seem to mind the idea.

"Oh, stay the night? I don't see why not." He says with a smile.

"See? Great! The rooms are all ready n' waitin' for ya. Although after supper, imma need your help tending to the Soras, Aaron."

"Yeah sounds good dad." Aaron says, standing. He grabs his and Lights plate and take sit to the kitchen, setting it in the sink. He does the same for his parents plate. When he returns he kisses Light. "Alright be back soon."

Kaebius left with him, leaving the two girls alone.

Sam gets another glass of water. "So Light... How is Aaron.." She asks in a gossipy voice.

"Oh, he's alright. Had a hard time with the job before, but he's doing alright now." She smiles.

"Alright well that's good... How about you guys... Are you good?" She asks, sipping her water. "Any fights or anything?"

"Nah. We're pretty relax with one another. And that's just fine by me."

"That's nice... He better be treating you nice. But I'm sure if he wasn't he'd have some injuries to show for it." She laughs.

She chuckles. "I can take care of myself. But no, he's very kind. And he always tries very hard to be charming... sometimes a little too hard..." She giggles.

"That's Aaron... He's a lot like Kaebius... Now Monica, she's almost a carbon copy of me." Sam says. "But since Aaron is so much like Kaebius I'm sure he wouldn't do anything to hurt you just like Kaebius wouldn't do anything to hurt me."

"I like your husband. He's funny. Not only that, but he's my favorite comic book hero."

"Oh my, you read his comic book... Well... That probably makes you want to stay with Aaron even more now! Kaebius could never deny a fan anything, besides I can tell he loves you like his own daughter already. You should really meet Monica to, she's the sweetest." Sam says. "I feel like you two would be good friends."

"Maybe. I don't have much friends, though..."

"It's fine, you only need one." She says with a smile. "So the room you and Aaron will be staying in, it's got a king sized bed... A TV, and a full bathroom."

"Damn, really? Looks like we'll never have to leave that room!" She chuckles.
