I think it should go something like this: Chief is forced to make his final stand with both Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris by his side, they will hold out for hours until they finally run out of ammo and are picked off one by one until only Chief and Locke remain. With no ammo left, they are forced to use their fists. They beat their enemies down until there lay piles of Covenant corpses on the ground around them. Just as it seems like all hope is lost, Chief and Locke look at each other and realize that this will be their last battle. They were once enemies, but now they will fight to the death, side by side. Suddenly, the entire Covenant armada appears and begins descending on their position. With no hope left, Chief looks at Locke and then...
He whistled for a cab and when it came near The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror If anything he could say that this cab was rare But Chief thought 'Nah, forget it' - 'Yo, home to Bel-Air'
6 RespuestasEditado por What I Look Like: 6/20/2016 5:53:57 AMI've figured these forums out.. it's largely a collection of passive-aggressive "old school" Halo fans. The amount of shade thrown towards 343i in this post (and most posts pertaining to Halo in general) is just sad. At this point I'd rather deal with Undertale Fandom or some annoying Minecraft Youtuber who is going through puberty. What I really mean by that is those 2 examples are far less annoying. Like, we get it. You don't like the damned company. Move on.

1 RespuestaHave Locke kill him. Not because he's rogue or anything, but because he's gravely injured, and will die anyways. Maybe even Cortana infected his A.I in a last-ditch effort to survive, and there's no way to get her out. Imagine it: Chief lays in the wreckage of the final battle. The big bad has been beaten, and the day is saved. However, he's been gravely injured. Even a Spartan couldn't survive that. As sparks fly out of sections of his destroyed armor, Locke steps into the view of the camera. Chief looks up at him and tells him that he knows what he has to do. As Locke hesitantly draws his pistol, the camera slides to a first-person view from Locke's perspective. It goes from a cutscene to gameplay, and the player is forced to be the one to pull the trigger. If handled correctly, that could be one hell of an emotional sendoff.

15 RespuestasNo, he should retire. He's above death.

5 RespuestasEditado por The n00banater: 6/17/2016 4:46:24 PMNo. At the climax of the story in the middle of a major battle it goes back to the Master Chief in the cryo pod in the Forward Unto Dawn with the good art style. He randomly wakes up and Cortana says "bad dream?" he says "yeah", then goes bad into cryo sleep.

Editado por tbaglag: 6/20/2016 5:17:48 AMJust recreate the mgs3 fight against the boss. The boss being chief and lock being snake who then becomes big boss.
the complete silence before you pull the trigger while the camera pans out...feels
What so you have against chief. He should sacrifice himself at the end.
-
2 RespuestasDie? No. Go back into a cryo pod? Yes. The man is death, the very thing the covenant feared. He needs to go into a cryo pod and rest until he's legitimately needed or just retire into one and refuse to wake up
-
4 RespuestasNo! Chief is feared by the covenant, chief destroyed the flood, chief fell from orbit, and survived, chief detonated a uke in his hands and survived, chief killed a god. Good luck killing him.
-
Editado por The Superego: 6/18/2016 7:31:30 PMNo it should literally just be his death. He has lived to damn long. (I don't want them screwing with his badassery further.) Edit: Showing his face would make it even better. With the player saluting him.

7 RespuestasHow are they going to kill master chief when they already did it at the launch of Halo 4?

... I actually agree.

Spartans never die.

3 RespuestasThe least surprising and most cliche way possible: -Humanity searches for Mendicant Bias -MB agrees to lead humanity against a fleet of Created led by Cortana -Final battle of ultimate Halo destiny (for now) -Locke and Osiris agree to strike and land a crippling blow on Cortana's flagship -John says he'll try one more time to talk her round, intended more as a distraction -The player, as Locke, triggers the crippling, explosive blow to Cortana's ship -John redeems Cortana in their final moments together -Kablooey

Editado por Fox McCloud 007: 6/17/2016 8:27:56 PMAn actual boss fight in H5 where you spend half of it fighting Cheif as Locke, and the other half fighting Locke as Cheif would've been nice.

Master chief should die

wort wort wort

Master Chief is dispatched to a grunt making facility and drowns in a vat of grunt sperm.
-
Editado por Psychic Donuts: 6/17/2016 4:18:50 PMI actually like this. You have to kill Chief to save humanity or something but then you kill the beloved character. 343 needs to make Chief go out memorably. Edit: Oh shit someone below said Cortana should do it. This would be a good ending.
-
2 RespuestasEditado por C4: 6/17/2016 7:12:59 PMI'd like to see MC go rogue at the beginning of the campaign, and you as your spartan (maybe with other friends and their spartan, cough cough, multiplayer campaign) has to go search for him and ib the end, eliminate him. Edit: Spelling error.

1 RespuestaOr cortana could do it. Would probably be better in a story telling way.
