According to the executive producer of Destinys Rise of Iron. It will have the tracking cluster rockets but the exec. insinuated that it will not the powerful weapon it once was. The way I see it is it's just another marketing ploy by Bungie to boost sales. Just what we all need, another fancy looking ordinary rocket launcher.

I played strikes and raids with all three characters from day one. I didn't have enough coins to buy it from Xur the first time and I never got it in a drop. I still got to do Crota and Vault because if you didn't suck, you didn't need it. When I finally bought it, I was disappointed. Not because it wasn't good; it was great. I was disappointed because it made every strike and raid easy mode and therefore, less fun.

5 RespuestasWwwwrrrrroooooonnnnggggggg! Read it and Weep. http://gamerant.com/destiny-rise-of-iron-no-collectors-edition/

Thought this was obvious... Why would Bungie give everyone a weapon which was and still would be strong enough to break every raid or strike "mechanic" ( i use that term loosely) in the game.
-
1 RespuestaYa you're right. Unless it shits on everything it literally no better that any other rocket launcher. And rockets suck currently for anything pve so.......

3 RespuestasI just read an article and this is what the developers said. “Gjallarhorn will be even more powerful [than it is now], because its power levels will rise. [It] will be restored to its old prowess. We’re really looking forward to putting it back in the hands of the players… [and] every Guardian will forge the Gjallarhorn as part of a quest.”

When has bungie ever told the truth. This is great news.
-
Yes it will!

Just another one of these posts

Well considering that the last 2 prepared bonuses were completely useless this is a step up by a longshot

4 Respuestasaccording to the stat sheet...the velocity is much lower than the original http://imgur.com/a/6oQz2 on the original the velocity was greater than the blast radius http://db.planetdestiny.com/items/view/1274330687
-
3 RespuestasStill the strongest rocket in the game.
-
I forgot, nobody uses a weapon because they like it, it must be an overpowered death machine.
-
Even so Gjallarhorn and tracking clusters is still and will always be my favorite rocket.
-
4 RespuestasMaybe not as powerful as it once was but the most powerful rocket in the game based on description alone. There is no rocket that can hit an enemy and then send tracking clusters after them for further damage. Should fall somewhere between Troof and the Sleeper. Sleeper precision blast should be the max dmg heavy attack, with Gjally total blast dmg a bit below the Sleeper precision blast an well above Sleeper body shot.

Yup... pretty sure it'll be the lame nerfed version of it. However, thanks to dipshits out there who buy microtransaction items, they have set the precedence for future content.
-
It's really sad that Dragon's Breath will be way better than Ghorn. Yes, Dragon's Breath. Ghorn deserves better.
-
2 RespuestasHopefully they'll make the quest to obtain it really difficult so it can be a bad ass again. Sad thing is it'll only hold 5-6 rockets and not 7.
-
9 RespuestasThe main reason why it was nerfed was excluding people in raids according to Deej during the House of Wolves timeframe. You had to have it for Crota. Yes you could use the Hunger of Crota, but, a lot of people were excluded from raiding and even running Skolas. They didn't want Gjallarhorn to be so exclusive. P.S. just going by memory here

7 RespuestasWhat I can't and never will understand is that we are paying 30 dollars for a weapon we've either already earned or bought. I can't see why people are excited for this. Yes I'm buying ROI but I'm not really excited for anything but the fallen raid they said we'd have over a year ago. This goes for any weapon or armor piece we already have. Bungie : " let's make them pay for content that's already in the game and cut out most of the exotics from the game completely making them once again obsolete". Deej : "yeah good idea" I just dont understand their marketing ideas they're the worst since supply drops in CoD.

After reviewing what has been shown by Bungie at E3 it appears that revealing the G-horn return a week before E3 was meant to create hype and mask the fact that RoI really has nothing substantial to offer for the price. I was initially happy with the reveal and was actually looking forward to RoI. Now, since the latest "nerf-date" because of an "annoying" subclass and the subsequent release of info at E3 I am much less optimistic and may not even purchase RoI. Bungie needs to recover and rethink their process.

3 RespuestasThey have already nerfed it you spack

3 RespuestasEditado por Ravontulet: 6/16/2016 3:57:52 PMNaw, I think it will still be great - even if they did nerf wolfpack rounds a bit at the end of Y1. will it be a huge thing in Y3 - I am sure it will - but perhaps not as OP and ubiquitous as it once was. Especially if everyone gets one just for a pre-order. <edit for spelling>
-
I would be ok having it be the OG Gjally but only is the quest to get it was really super -blam!-ing hard to do.
-
7 RespuestasGuys watch the E3 Interviews Deej said they will not do anything to it, it will be more powerful now because the defense/attack/light will be updated Like he said it is a treasure, iconic destiny exotic
-
4 RespuestasBecause it still is a great weapon. Thing is some people bitched and the sheep followed.
-
Ofcourse it wont be, they say that because the original beast was nerfed. It's still a killing machine, even with the nerfs they gave it I mainly pre-ordered the expansion because I knew I would end up wanting it when it came out. So I bought it earlier rather than later. Why not get a fancy Gjallarhorn and a PS4 theme if you already know that you'll buy it anyways? To all you players saying you're going to buy it after you see what it's like; you're really just kidding yourselves. Once you start watching youtube videos of other people playing it your gamer instinct will kick in and you'll want it. The extra areas and the new gear will just show you a world that you aren't part of "You always want what you can't have"
