New Terra, Garden of Heroes military cemetery. POV- Vladimir
The funeral had already started, Vladimir scoffed. His brother had always been the big hero, going to the academy, joining the navy, commanding his own ship. Pavel could not help but to outshine his brother. Vladimir entered the chapel accompanied by a few of his associates. In truth he was not some mid level soldier in the Russian mafia, but the bosses's right hand man. They dealt in illegal goods, weapons, alcohol, racketeering, theft, and counterfeiting. They didn't deal drugs and they didn't sell people, the boss was adamant about that, and vlad agreed. This was about money, power and the freedom to do whatever people wanted.
But today he grieved, tears touched the corners of his eyes, despite the fact that his brother had disowned him, he still loves him. And he knew exactly who was responsible, in the criminal underworld few secrets were so, secrets. Everyone knew the triad had killed Pavel Volkov, and everyone knew a gang war was on its way. The Irish and the Italians sided with the Russians, the Jamaicans, the Columbians, and the various street gangs from New Terra sided with the triad. The yakuza, the Brits, and the syndicate didn't or wouldn't take sides, yet.
But for now, the grieving period would be respected, the Russian and their allies had three days to mourn while the battle for the underground built up.
"My brother, was always one you could count on. He brought honor to our family name, he was always the better man..."

His men held him, the triad thug was bleeding from his mouth and nose. Vladimir paced, metal bat in his hands.
"I can do this all night, we both know your employer killed my brother. Just tell me where he is and this all ends."
The triad spit on him, and Vladimir laughed while he beat the man with the bat.
"Tell me, Tell me, Tell me!"
A hand caught the bat, Sergei was Vladimir's right hand man, he was also cold hearted and very practical, but most importantly he was Vladimir's oldest friend.
"He will not talk dead my friend, let me handle him, the boss needs you."
Vlad nodded slowly and threw the bat into a dumpster. He kicked the triad in the gut one last time and turned to leave. Entering the street he walked back to the warehouse.

-
"Where can we find him?"
-
"I don't know, that's where I've been for the past few hours, rounding up tso's drug runners."
-
"Point me in the direction of one."
-
"There is one who eluded us, didn't run his route today. He is probably the only one still out there."
-
"Where is his route, I'll get the information and tell you where the bastard is."
-
"Every day at three o'clock he enters su yung's dragon panda buffet. There he delivers cocaine to the distributors."
-
"Thank you." The masked man said in response, before he simply walked far from the alley.
-
The Russian shook his head, a vigilante was the last thing they needed right now. It was bad for everyone in thieves world.
-
*A figure with blazing crimson eyes watches you from a distance, interest and curiosity running through him*
-
The man continued to walk, until he reached the warehouse where he entered.
-
*the figure seemed to dissolve into the ground, and, almost instantaneously, reforms against the wall of the warehouse. He wanted to listen to the conversation*
-
The conversation between Vladimir and his men was in Russian. The man was very angry by his tone
-
Hmm... Well, best to put these in. *The figure seemed to put an odd silver thing in each ear, both molding to fit. He was able to understand them now*
-
"I want everyone we have to arm up. Break out all of our stock, all the heavy weapons, everything!" "Everything?" "EVERYTHING!"
-
*The figure mumbles to himself* What would they want to do with all that firepower. *He hears it as English, but with the things in his ears, it makes it come out in Russian.*
-
No one noticed him as he mumbled but the rising tensions between the Russian mob and the triads were no secret. A war was going to break out.
-
ah, shit, am I gonna have to intervene? *The figure forms an iron ball in his hand*

A single wisp attended Pavel's funeral, and was walking down the street when he saw the same man who was seemingly very close to him and was easily one of the most effected at the funeral walk into the warehouse. He follows after him, being rather curious as to the situation and honestly trying to find some answers "Hey. I saw you at Pavel's funeral. Are you alright? He hated me, or more specifically my dad, a lot. I'm sorry for your loss, and I'd be happy to help you find the murderer."
-
"If my brother hated someone he'd have a good reason. I know who it was who killed him, I know where his territory is, but I don't know where he is specifically."
-
"Let's figure it out then... Who is he? I want to help..."
-
"Han tso crime lord of the triad." Looking around the warehouse the wisp could see guns, cars, and merchandise, guarded by tough looking Russian mobsters.
-
"So Pavel was unaware of all of this? He was one to play by the books, not to run a guerilla warfare organization..." he looks around at all the weaponry and criminals
-
"My brother had an idea of what I do, yes. But he doesn't- he didn't grasp the scale of power and wealth."
-
"True. He wasn't much of a self-thinker, was he? Anyway, what needs doing, who needs killing, and what needs destroying?"
-
"The triad gang and their allies."
