New Terra, Garden of Heroes military cemetery. POV- Vladimir
The funeral had already started, Vladimir scoffed. His brother had always been the big hero, going to the academy, joining the navy, commanding his own ship. Pavel could not help but to outshine his brother. Vladimir entered the chapel accompanied by a few of his associates. In truth he was not some mid level soldier in the Russian mafia, but the bosses's right hand man. They dealt in illegal goods, weapons, alcohol, racketeering, theft, and counterfeiting. They didn't deal drugs and they didn't sell people, the boss was adamant about that, and vlad agreed. This was about money, power and the freedom to do whatever people wanted.
But today he grieved, tears touched the corners of his eyes, despite the fact that his brother had disowned him, he still loves him. And he knew exactly who was responsible, in the criminal underworld few secrets were so, secrets. Everyone knew the triad had killed Pavel Volkov, and everyone knew a gang war was on its way. The Irish and the Italians sided with the Russians, the Jamaicans, the Columbians, and the various street gangs from New Terra sided with the triad. The yakuza, the Brits, and the syndicate didn't or wouldn't take sides, yet.
But for now, the grieving period would be respected, the Russian and their allies had three days to mourn while the battle for the underground built up.
"My brother, was always one you could count on. He brought honor to our family name, he was always the better man..."

His men held him, the triad thug was bleeding from his mouth and nose. Vladimir paced, metal bat in his hands.
"I can do this all night, we both know your employer killed my brother. Just tell me where he is and this all ends."
The triad spit on him, and Vladimir laughed while he beat the man with the bat.
"Tell me, Tell me, Tell me!"
A hand caught the bat, Sergei was Vladimir's right hand man, he was also cold hearted and very practical, but most importantly he was Vladimir's oldest friend.
"He will not talk dead my friend, let me handle him, the boss needs you."
Vlad nodded slowly and threw the bat into a dumpster. He kicked the triad in the gut one last time and turned to leave. Entering the street he walked back to the warehouse.

As soon as he walked out of the alley way he saw a woman leaning on the wall flipping a coin in her hand. "Sounds like you need someone dead and an extra gun. If you're interested I'd be more than willing to lend a hand. For the right price of course..."
-
"Tell me, why would I hire you when my associates have been loyal for years?"
-
"To put in in ways you can understand I'm better than then when it comes to combat. I'm also an android which helps. I'm faster, stronger, and smarter than most humans"
-
"But I can trust my men, they're loyal, you are a mercenary, I have no assurances of your loyalty. And you make the assumption that none of my men are androids or nonhumans? Is not very good business practice, racism."
-
"Yes but I'm a one of a kind android. Money is one way to ensure my loyalty. I'm the only functioning X6 prototype there are no others like me. I can do things no other android can. Pay the right price and you'll get one of the best soldiers money can buy"
-
"The thing is, the regular mercenaries I hire, I've worked with them before or know someone who has, I know who I can trust and who I can not. You I don't know."
russians are very suspicious of strangers, especially the Russian mafia. Trust is the issue here, they can well afford your services.
-
"To be honest I don't really know who I am either. My memory was wiped and I don't remember anything before a year ago. I have no elegances to anyone. I can tell you that my name is Amy, designation X6-89 first and as far as I know only functioning X6 model made for combat and human interaction. I'm programmed to follow orders from whoever pays me within reason of course"
-
"Well I suppose, you think that is supposed to set my mind at ease. So I'll ask you this, how much are you asking?"
-
"Nothing lower than 900k"
-
"Pfft, I can hire a lot of men for that much 700k"
-
"But I'm worth 50 of the best soldiers you can hire"
-
"Maybe, maybe not. I have no way of verifying that."
also, he's haggling, it's a common business practice outside the USA.
-
"I'll go down to 850"

Brady slowly walks past, wondering what just happened. He's probably going to die you know. That man. I heard it all. Your brother, killed at the hands of an elusive mob boss. And now you want revenge. Your anger fuels you, makes you stronger. I completely understand. Murder is perfectly acceptable in the eyes of the murderer. But to the victims? And their families? To them, you become a monster, corrupt. But to yourself, you are perfectly normal. So, go for it. Get revenge. It won't affect you, except for making you stronger. So, Vladimir, do it. Do it for Pavel.
-
lecturing a mobster on ethics m, bold,
Vladimir looked at man. "Just who are you?"
-
My name is Brady. Used to be pretty famous. Sith Lord. If you've heard of Sith.
-
"You're superstitious men who practice an old religion. At the expense of your immortal soul."
-
Religion? The Force is our way of life. And we are not immortal, usually anyways. I, myself, am because of other ways.
-
He save the idea off. "All men die, your soul lives on after, condemned to punishment or peace depending on your actions."
-
I physically cannot die. It's literally impossible. But I can do something else. I can bring him back, Vladimir. But he will not be accepted. He will be known as the man who lived after death. Do you want that?
-
"And doom him to hell along side myself? Never. And if you suggest it again we'll find out if you really are immortal."
-
I'm just saying. It is possible you can live with him again. But would you like to at least see him one last time?
-
"Not if it would doom him. There is a reason children's stories warm you of such matters. To remind you, such things come at a terrible price."
