Maybe make subtypes of existing weapons. Rocket Launcher subtype -->Grenade Launcher Has larger magazines, gets more ammo in general, fires nades which explode with a smaller radius on impact and move in an arc. Possible perks Smart Grenades- Bounce a couple times until within range of an enemy Burst Fire System- Fires 3 smaller grenades in a line with each trigger pull High Velocity Chamber- Grenades fly further faster and arc less Adaptive Pathfinding- Grenades gain tracking similar to a flux or fusion grenade Fool Me Once- Grenades explode a second time after a short delay Volatile shots- Grenades explode with more intensity and range, but explode at a much faster rate Cushion Detonation- Greatly increased blast radius, decreased damage Intensified Explosive- Greatly increased damage, decreased blast radius Possible Exotics Anchorshot- Void Grenade Launcher Each grenade leaves behind a small vortex which pulls enemies in, damages and suppresses them Other perks- Burst Fire System High Velocity Chamber Actuator SC4- Solar Grenade Launcher Fires grenades which stick to surfaces. Reloading the gun detonates all active grenades. Other Perks Fool Me Once Intensified Explosive Inner Sanctum- Exotic Kinetic Grenade Launcher Fires whatever grenade is currently equipped by the wielder

An SMG would make a sick exotic. It'd probably be an exotic sidearm

I'd enjoy a primary sidearm that dual wields with a normal sidearm (no ads and triangle/ Y reload the primary sidarm)

Why do people suggest an SMG? It has no place.
