Bump. There is literally no reason to play sunsinger now. Grenades and melees was all it was good for... And they took both of those things away because they were "frustrating"

I tested it out on sunsinger the extra damage from other sources when using viking funeral is not much. at the very least they need to bump it up alot . if its not going to add a burn then the extra damage when hit with that should be alot more.

The nerfs are out of hand watch next titans will get nerfed because warlocks and hunters got hit hard this is never ending. it should not be decided by one guy who does crucible tweaking thats the problem. it does not matter how good he thinks he is doing maybee he just listens to everyone whining and just nerfs it . but no one was complaing about blade dancer or tripmine grenades. tripmine grenades are the most useless grenades now.

I main a titan. I had nothing against them. Yes the burn was annoying but they were easily counter able.

Could not agree more! They didn't even state that there would be a reduction to the solar grenade damage but not its useless.

I am not using firebolt since I've got Sunbreaker gloves. I think Sun Singers are great. And so are the other two Warlock classes. Oops, dang it, now I said it. I see a nerf hammer coming my way.

Why are you using sunbreakers and solar now? Solar needs its burn but warlocks dont have burn anymore.

Usually such players will run and hide until they have recovered. Solar Grenade are lasting for a while and thus are great to limit an opponent's tactical options (area denial). He cannot easily traverse such a grenade. If he does, he will get enough damage to allow me to kill him while he will not be able to kill me, too. I also can use them like a firebolt grenade, minus the ability to fly towards a target in close proximity. I need a direct hit, but that's pretty easy to accomplish due to the big size of solar. In the right situation, I can thus damage an opponent and then charge him. That's why I prefer Solar + Sun Breakers over Firebolt. Sun Breakers give Solar grenades a significant boost in my eyes.

Now with Viking Funeral changed I think Solar Grenades might be stronger than you think in PvP. One hit of a Solar Grenade and you can dunk the enemy with a weapon since they're weakened. Especially if you're using Tlaloc, which to me is the WORST (wink wink) Scout in the game.

I run double solar nads and have to say they now suck at pvp. Youll be lucky enough to kill somebody if they just stand there but most player move out of the way. Before if the players reaction time was slow to move away from solar nad the burn would kill them. Now that the burn only deals 2 damage it became pointless to use unless your planning to deny your opponent access to a certain area.

Its not about the grenade. They changed viking funeral which was an essential perk to using almost all grenades (the exception is fusion). They also nerfed flameshield making it to where you die before it can even kick in. I main voidwalker but when I did go sunsinger I used the solarflares and those do less damage now too.

I never used Viking Funeral and Solar Grenades worked fine for me. It was never ESSENTIAL to be effective.

No they actually lowered the dps on the solar nades dramatically. As a solar grenade runner I can barely melt a shield with a nade now

I do hate the fact that warlocks were nerfed because they were causing "annoying encounters". They dont outperform any class, they are just annoying..such a lame excuse.

Its not that bad really. The .3 second delay is hardly noticeable.

But the .3 sec delay now means warlocks lose any melee to melee encounter as they have the slowest melee reset. The flame shield made up for the delayed melee.

I feel like they should have reworked that grenade instead of just making it useless. I still win alot if melee encounters, its all about timing.

they also nerfed solar grenades badly. the only good nade is the fusion which has to stick for it to do anything.
