Remember RARE exotics?
Remember the good old days when you got an exotic and treated it like a new born child.
I remember getting thorn and flipping out because of the looks and its power in general and rareness.
Nowadays, exotics are not rare and there's to many ways to obtain them.

3 RespuestasI agree. I miss those random exotic bounties you would get when turning in bounties. It felt like you accomplished something when rewarded those weapons. Now they just hand them out because people are lazy and want everything handed to them.

1 RespuestaAt this point I'm mostly using 3oC exotic drops to infuse legendary gear, because the exotics that drop are either for the wrong class or are duplicates.

2 RespuestasIt took me exactly 6 months after the launch of Destiny to get my Thunderlord. Every single nightfall, raid, legendary engram, I all prayed would turn into it and on one beautiful February 9th day at around 3pm EST it dropped for me at the end of a crucible match. I have never screamed so much in my entire life. I felt like one of those kids in those loot drop reaction videos. Nowadays, I pop a three of coins and get every single exotic within 2-3 weeks of a DLC dropping. I'm tempted not to use them, but it's hard when they're so easily available to use.

3 RespuestasNo exotic should be rng based. We should all get a quest to get the armor or gun. There needs to be a story about the gun and getting it from a random drop is just stupid. The way i see it is the exotics should only be able to be dropped in certain areas. Mars would have a set of exotics, venus would have a set of exotics and so on, but they wouldnt drop randomly though. They would drop through a quest on that certain planet.
