You kill anything 5 light levels or lower than you in trials / banner regardless of armor, It has sticky targeting help when throwing it at players, It can stick to surfaces like a MINE. This is the best gernade in the game for PvP for getting kills. I've been dropped by trip mines more so than any other since day 1. You're doing it wrong.
