Snipers are too op
Everybody that snipes would disagree with the topic at hand so you might as well save you keyboard warrior ass off my topic.
What im trying to get at is snipers are the most used if not the only used secondary in the game and its getting ridiculous that people in the game would rather try to back out of a gun fight to go try to snipe you than use their primary or even they will use thiers snipers at shotgun range this is a ongoing problem as more people ask for shotguns to be nerfed for what i try to use anything else other than a sniper and i get shit on in both regular crucible and trials in my opinion shotgun range can stay the same idc about that but can us users of shotguns get a bit more rate of fire for our guns that have dissipated into a unusable class of weaponry or at the very least can all snipers as a whole get nerfed for the ridiculous amount of aim assist on all of them its like year 1 effredits spear but in a very much different context instead of the one shot kill no matter what we have the automatic headshot zoom in(it's bad when fusion rifles charge faster than a shotgun shoots twice) can we please do something about this bungie your game is getting to be unplayable like the tmnt game for Nintendo and its a shame this game was so good back in the day where the only real thing people complained about was that everyone used the thorn anyway i feel i've babbled enough it's on you all to decide whether anything changes for the better.Goodluck out there Guardians the fight wont end here

It is the snipers in a way but mainly I find it is the actual people. I myself run a shotgun which I am fairly good with after using one for the entirety of year 1. I have been trying for year 2 trials for over two months now and because I cannot snipe for the life of me it just isn't happening. I've come into the 7-8 win section a lot of times but I always find 2 fairly average players and 1 godlike sniper that shuts down my entire team with only their sniper. I've tried many tactics to kill but no matter if I'm blinking or Shading or twighliting I can not avoid the shot. People are simply too good with snipers which makes me miss year 1 quite a lot when the special weapons were not sniper biased.

I make it a point to hunt Down snipers. And when I'm on my titan I shoulder charge snipers to oblivion. Let them camp they are easy targets just flank.

1 RespuestaThis is so annoying... Like some people are just good with snipers (myself included) like the stagger for the most part is huge, it depends on the stability of the sniper rifle. Like I get out gunned by primaries pretty often, at like some ridiculous ranges. There is a case where maybe you should re-spec your class to for the players, change up your subclass, practice unril you're good at sniping too. Like snipers in every game work the same way, you get shot in the head you die. If you want to know the best way to combat them watch videos, my sniping and counter sniping got a million times better after watching youtube videos by true-vanguard. They arent gonna nerf snipers, just isnt realistic

I've got it. Add travel time to bullets like in Battlefield. That way you can't just -blam!- somebody constantly with snipers staring down the same spot all game. (I have been guilty of that.) To the people telling me to get good, I personally get annoyed by snipers but I am a shotgun warrior and damn proud of it. I know I'll get -blam!-ed up. Please don't. Also, how did op manage to type without any punctuation and I could still read it?

Nope. Snipers are a problem, but it doesn't have much to do with them. The problem is that there isn't much counter play. Primaries need a buff. MIDA's flinch should be added to all weapons, and high impact should have a chance of descoping.

I would say add sway or something to snipers in PVP ONLY. Most sit around hard scoping in some corner waiting to get lucky. I say after 5 seconds add sway so you can just sit around in a corner all game. Make it so if you REALLY want to sniper you actually need some skill again.
