Petition for Rise of Iron to be on old gen consoles
I'm honestly extremely mad that old gen consoles aren't getting rise of iron. So now playing Destiny on "legacy consoles" is completely pointless, so I'll be the first to sign.

Everyone has had plenty of time to upgrade, there have been sales in stores, used ones sold online, there is zero reason people shouldn't be upgraded after 3 years of the "new gen" already being out? If you expect to play new games, you're going to need a system that can handle it. It's still better than upgrading a PC every 2 years to play the latest and greatest titles. Be greatful the console wasn't eliminated a few years ago, and that old gen consoles owners have held new gen back these last few years.

Your petition literally means nothing to bungie. Get a new console, they're much cheaper now. I get that it sucks, but you need to accept that last gen is outdated. Most devs won't even think about support for last gen at this point.

I feel for the guys on last gen who are not getting it, i really do. To have played this for so long and love it, then be told you can not continue must be totally shit. I am sure BungieVision have done this for a reason. Maybe last gen can't handle it. I doubt they would piss away all the money they would get from last gen sales for nothing.

I'm not trying to be a butthole but if u have a job wait until taxes buy one then u can buy a used one off swap n shops gamestop etc. If u don't have a job or not old enough to have one Christmas is coming up ask mom n dad to get u one do chores n what not show them u want it real bad

You don't mow just your lawn. You try and mow all the lawns of the houses around you too. Work sucks man but we have to do what we have to do. I guarantee that if you go around trying to mow some lawns explaining that you're saving for something you'll get lots of help from your neighbors.

As somebody who plays on both depending on the friends online. I am sad that its time to realize the 360/PS3 era has ended. And it sucks that I will not be able to enjoy the new content with my old raid team. But the consoles are 10+ years old. Its time to let them rest in peace. As a current gen player. I am excited that it will no longer be help back by the last gen limitations. I am excited and hyped to see what Bungie can do with the game now that they dont have to limit everything. Either way. I thank bungie for keeping Last gen relevant for aslong as they did. I made alot of friends on LFG 360. And I hope they will upgrade so we can continue to enjoy those times. The consoles are 10+ years old. Why should the game developers limit their games potiential for a decade old console? While I understand that life comes first. If you wanted to "Continue the story" it shouldnt be difficult to save up. But I do not know anybodies situation. If your in a situation shere you cant just save up a few bucks every paycheck or allowance or what ever. Then worry about your life priorities first instead of not getting the newest DLC of a game

Sorry but no. Because of parity destiny was held back a bit. Graphically, the environments were pulled back a bit. And a chunk of features were left on the table. It's bad enough that the Xbox one holds back a lot of games, in the interest of parity (re: every Ubisoft game) but getting dragged by the hair by the previous generation is the worst!

No, the reason bungie dropped last gen because of financial and digital limitations. On the financial side bungie can now advertise destiny as current gen only without the hindered processing power and the ability to fit more content into every major and minor expansion. On the digital side the have the ability to achieve better fps graphics etc( since destiny is built around last gen it wont happen until destiny 2.) Finally, more storage space means the ability to have more bytes of content in each expansion and dlc without the worry of less purchases because if limited last gen space.

It totally sucks for old gen players that while the rest of the Destiny community gets exciting news, they get their end..the timing of breaking the news sucks. But at the same time, old gen players had to kno that this day was inevitable. I still play sp games offline on old gen, theyre good systems, but the industry wont stay behind forever.

Petition all you want, if the consoles can't run it due to things like 512mb of ram, it can't do it. No matter how much you may wish it. Rise of iron is the start of yr3, going into 2017. In 2017 PS neo and xbox scorpio will be out, making x1 and ps4 old gen. Asking bungie to continue destiny into 2017 on 360 and ps3 is like asking a developer to make ps1 version games when ps3 is the current model. It'll be 4 years since x1/ps4 has been out in 2017 and they will be the previous generation. Time to move on, man.

You can't blame Bungie for this to be honest. When Microsoft decided to stop producing the 360 they were telling game producers that they will stop supporting the system very soon. Why should game producers keep supporting old gen systems when the companies making them aren't? Sony will likely follow suit very soon. As I've been telling ppl all week, this move was inevitable. Old gen is being left behind. If your finances are so tight that you have not been able to upgrade after 3 years then maybe it's time for you to realize that you probably shouldn't be wasting money on video games to begin with. GET YOUR PRIORITIES IN ORDER!!
