Thank god Chris Barret is lead developing this thing
This guy understands the importance of variety and continued validation of player efforts. We might see infusion of year 2 gear into year 3, some type of reforging system, maybe even elemental primaries. And if JW decides not to host nerf-fest 3.0, it'll be even better. One can dream.

The same guy who green lit Shank Burn RL? The same guy who gave us arguably the worst PvE endgame to date? And the same guy who made the elemental primary drop rate so low it's like they didn't exist? (Seriously, I never saw one or knew anybody that got one. I thought they were actually a myth for the longest time) As far as bringing Y2 weapons forward, most likely not his decision. Reforge and E-Light likely weren't solely his decision. In fact E-Light was debated internally for months. See BWU 12/4/14.

3 RespuestasI'm not pre-ordering because I have trust issues. Part of those trust issues involve not wanting my Gjallarhorn looking ugly in whatever they've reskinned it as. I would've expected a bronze/copper and green/white color adaptation to match the Iron Banner, but this? This isn't an Iron Banner theme. This is just stupid, and the OG-Horn was the best aesthetically. @.@; I have so many mixed feelings about this xpac.

Instead of a raid we'll just put them in a bowl with the enemies" The mechanics were so bad that the smartest way through them was to just burn the boss. So instead of reworking the mechanic, punish the gun. Every legendary gun in the expansion was an ugly re-skin of weapons I already had. Then deciding to make everything rerollable ( so noobs could get their instant gratification) and seeing what a shit show that turned into, taking all reforging away in the next expansion? You can whine about felwinters or other IB weapons but reforging was necessary to overcome that one blatant flaw every weapon had. Every IB I'd throw what materials I could afford at jolders, felwinter's, and efrideet's trying to get the only roll that made the gun worth using, cuz otherwise they were garbage. It took months to get just one good roll, but once you got it you knew it was an amazing gun. What's the last IB weapon you picked up and used and went wow that is an amazing gun? Outside of nirwens (which I still don't have) I've got all of them in triplicate, and with amazing rolls they are still mediocre at best. They are best used as infusion material. They don't even have names to me any more, they are just that 335 primary or special from IB.

1 RespuestaBut Luke is lead in destiny 2 right? So it may all be undone again just in time for destiny 2. I'm not looking forward to not finding a raid team like now or being able to play the egc so I might not buy RoI. We will have to see.
