The new expansion has been developing a lot of hype, and with Bungie's reveal today, it's hard to make a post without it drowning in the others. I am a skeptic of Bungie and often worry about their storytelling ability. However, I am optimistic about this expansion for several reasons. 1. A character from PvP has been brought to PvE. This shows Bungie's willingness to utilize their existing lore and layer character interaction instead of making trivial extensions of one faction or another. 2. Lord Saladin is the first real badass in this game that has been given a name. Not one other character has demonstrated legendary status in game and had a name attatched. 3. Lord Saladin is the first Tower NPC we have ever seen fight. Period. This increases story fluidity. I have more, but I want to write a longer post later.
