Totally support this, only problem I can see is that Doctrine will rule. So those who frequent the ToO will murder in Crucible. If anyone can think of a primary that can reliably beat Doctrine as a primary I would be glad to hear what I that weapon is

I do believe, at a range, the Hung Jury, would have a fair shot at shutting down the Doctrine. Grasp of Malok as well. The real only way to take out a Doctrine is to distance yourself from them, like If your a night-stalker (or TG Titan) you can evade out and create some distance to take them out. Its all about playing to your weapons advantages.

I agree that there are weapons which in the right hands could compete with the Doctrine. I would just be concerned that human nature being what it is, the ease of use of the Doctrine, would make it the weapon of choice if this game mode existed.. I absolutely love the OPs' idea and would be a willing participant if it ever happened Doctrine or no

Aegis of the Reef, or any of the Elder Challenge weapons are competitive as well.

lol you can do challenge at like 300 light, you're at 325 it should be no prob. If you're on ps4 I'll take you thru it no prob

It is true that the weapon is only as good as its wielder. So in the right hands yes I agree those choices are good. Really wish they would do this mode, it could be great

Wouldn't mind as well, at least I could run around a corner without the fear of running into a hardscoping sniper ;-) I think this mode would significantly increase the overall pace in the matches again.
