From my point of view Overwatch has a decent amount of content. Most people argue about the lack of maps and modes (which we'll get more for free) but forget about the roster.
21 unique characters with different abilities and play styles. That is quality content. Plus we'll get more in the future (for free).
Most other shooters are just generic models with the same few weapons.

Second you get a bunch of characters sure but very little to do with them so the game severely lacks content. Third it doesn't have comparable content for the price. Overwatch is a $40 game at most. $20 for exclusive skins is a rip off. You can spend your money how you want that's fine but it doesn't change the fact it is lacking content compared to the standard. If it's enough for you, enjoy but because you enjoy it doesn't change reality. If you got the value you expected that's fine. I expect more.

i agree it's completely worth 60$ bucks free content competitive coming soon and if u go ow its only worth 40 or 20 then what about call of duty, destiny, battlefield all thats 60 plus more for maps and guns ooooo
-
It does actually

24 RespuestasWhile Overwatch is hella fun, its current iteration does lack content. There is a decently impressive selection of starting maps and characters, but it cannot be denied that in the game mode department, it is lacking. It's only Payload, Control, or some hybrid between the two.

Editado por Carmine100: 6/9/2016 3:53:21 PMYes it does
-
3 RespuestasYour like the drunk girl at the party who starts am argument of something out of nowhere. "I don't look fat in these shoes... bitch"
-
It doesn't lack content. It's like saying CoD multiplayer lacks content... Oops..
-
12 RespuestasYeah it does. It's fun, but its lack of content is an undeniable fact.
-
There are many characters, however, the characters are not unique.
-
4 RespuestasSo you've made the point for overwatch. What's interesting, is you can use that same point for battle born, except it has a campaign as well
-
2 RespuestasMeh. Just reminds me of TF2.
-
1 RespuestaIt sure as hell lacks a campaign. And lemme explain why I'm sayin this. Because Overwatch has potential for a campaign. BUT. A big BUTt, eveey character has a different and unique campaign of their own
-
1 RespuestaYou're late to the party. OW hype died down about a week ago. It's just another game now, nothing special.
-
8 RespuestasIt lacks content, I've played 20 hours and am level 29. But it tries to make up for it in it's outstanding quality. What the game promises in the future DOESNT CHANGE THE GAME /NOW./
-
2 RespuestasSaying "we will get more later" is a bad argument considering right now it is $60 with little to no maps and modes. "Yeah I mean, the game shipped with one map, one gun, one class, and one mode, but hey, we will get more for free in the future! It's got loads of content!"
-
3 RespuestasI saw everything the game had to offer in the beta. In a couple of days i'd seen everything. That's not only a lack of content, it's laughably bad. I got bored of running the same damn maps doing the same damn objectives going through the same damn motions. It's great people enjoy it, that's what gaming is about, but don't come here saying it has content when it's as deep as spit on a spoon.
-
3 RespuestasThen I pose the question; why do I feel like I've already experienced the entire game, and already gotten bored with it, just from the open beta?
-
Since it got a open beta that was essentially the full game, people can decide that for themselves. I thought it didn't feel like a full price game.
-
Grasping at straws here bud
-
6 RespuestasI'm not sure it's $60 worth of content, but I like Blizzard (except for their movie thing, seriously why) so I'm ok with it.
-
1 RespuestaIndividually unique content > plentiful and redundant content. I'll never understand when people use the amount of weapons in a game as a measure of content. After a certain point the weapons just become redundant, the newer ones overtaking the old and making them useless. Why would you count useless content? Using that, Overwatch has more quality content than most other multiplayer only games at launch.
-
14 RespuestasOh now you're just in denial
-
17 RespuestasIt is light on content compared to other similar games.
-
I'm not getting it.
-
2 RespuestasHaven't played it and I don't really plan to. The price tag alone isn't worth it imo.
-
People just like bitching about games they don't play. If you enjoy it, who gives a shit what anybody has to say about it.
