Witnessed the bravest Kinderguardians out there
So me and three other randoms were patroling earth in the rocketyards when a taken champion event came up so we do what any other Guardian would do and engage it.
About halfway into the fight three level 8 Guardians spawn in near us (must be for the Sepiks strike) and start heading our way. They see the champion and immediately start attacking him even though at thier level they would not do anything. They even tried to spam abilities and supers with no avail yet the fight still continued. [spoiler]bless their little hearts[/spoiler]
When the fight was over they were scrambling over the remains looking for loot and even furiously teabagging where the boss had fallen.
With all said and done we all waved goodbye and they looked to continue thier strike while I went back to the grind.
Don't worry young Guardians, you will soon be battling Oryx himself and groaning over bad RNG.

How did you know they were new guardians? I've been playing on my warlock, and he was crazily weak but I still completeted pretty hard stuff

73 RespuestasI recently purchased a Collector's Edition copy of Destiny (PS3 Edition - I will upgrade to the PS4 edition when I buy one of those, too) and I was very hesitant in playing the game because of its cooperative nature; and being Deaf I didn't want to lessen the experience for other players in any way - but playing Destiny by myself has been a bundle of fun! Anyway, I had just leveled up to 10 and at the time I thought I was big stuff! I was this Warlock and I was handling the Fallen well enough to be comfortable with exploring random areas - and then it happened: I was in The Divide on a patrol when the Taken appeared and at first it didn't seem so bad, but then the Zealot appeared. I began to worry for my safety, but there was a Level 40 over on one of the rooftops to the right, just as you enter the area so I thought, "This should be over quickly with that person here" and with the Level 40 attacking the Zealot, I also began my assault... with a Level 7 Auto Rifle. I might as well have been throwing rocks at this thing, but I never gave up - until I realized there was a group of Taken Vandals firing at the Level 40 and the Level 40's title above their head would flash with an exclamation point, so instead of trying in vain to do any damage to the Zealot I thought my support would be more helpful in removing the smaller Taken enemies from the equation. This.. proved to be difficult with their protective bubble and all. Suddenly, I had the idea of sprinting into the bubble and high-fiving their faces, but that only succeeded in getting me killed - but it did serve as a distraction! I tried my best to adapt to the Taken enemies and after a few more deaths the Level 40 was finally able to defeat the Zealot and I tried to kill off any remaining enemies, but they became immune and then vanished. I was happy get a couple of engrams out of the whole ordeal though! The Level 40 bowed to me, to which I happily bowed in reply and then they vanished, too, I assume they'd returned to the Tower. It was a fun experience and a lesson learned. My Warlock is now Level 22, and I'm a little saddened that I didn't add that Level 40; but we Guardians will eventually cross paths again. :) I have since fought the Zealot a few times and I think with each time I'm getting a little better at it. Moral of my story: Don't rush into a group of enemies to try and high-five their faces.

When I was a wee lad, all the way back in week one, I was just starting my adventure. I had recently encountered the hive on earth. Naturally after that I waited to do the next mission, as I thought I should patrol the area for the vanguard. As I went about my business, I came across a small group of guardians. They were slaughtering the hive as they spawned in a cave. I decided to join them, because these level 20 guardians obviously need the help of a level 5. Eventually they invited me to a chat and for a few hours we just sat there, decimating Croats army. It was that day that jumped from level 5 to level 20 by shooting at a wall, and more importantly, met my first clan in destiny. All this was before I was hooked onto this drug we all love to hate, so I haven't seen anything about loot caves on the Internet. But that day is probably the reason I still play today, I found an awesome group of gamers that made me want to hold on tho this social game, even when none of my IRL friends played. I swear that loot cave was the best damn thing to happen to this game. Now excuse me, these onions got me all misty eyed.

Okay, I got another one. This is more of a funny story than a story of heroism or bravery. Sometimes, I take my 306 hunter onto the Destiny Demo just for shits and gigs. Once, I joined The Devil's Lair with some level 7's (Demo level cap) and they thought I was a god. They literally believed I was a ghost in the system, not even hyperbole there. They would worship me, and when I slaughtered Sepiks Prime, they all crouched and stared at the ground until I grabbed my loot (Just Ether Seeds, gotta have them alien drugs m8)

I remember back during HoW, I was in The Divide on Earth, and witnessed a kinderguardian getting his ass kicked by the Wolf Fallen. So I ran in there with Last Word and slaughtered them without even aiming. He thought I was a god. 😂

1 RespuestaI remember the quests for Exotics, how they were touched by RNG and worth pursuing. I remember the Heavy Drought, which made grown men cry. I remember breaching the time gates, and being blinded by the Darkness. I remember when Gjallarhorn was blown and the enemies of Mankind fell. There are many things I remember. We survived through it all. We've seen things. Fought things. Received things. Our fight is never over, though we fought long ago. The newer ones of our ranks may not know of the slayer of Myths, or the Thorns in(and at)our sides, but they too will find tales of their own in the coming wars. May their roads be smooth and the path ahead clear, for the trees hide all manner of dark and evil things.

You sure they were new players? Could have been players who started a new character because they were bored then decided to join the Taken fight since it would be a good challenege

I was hunting the elusive randal when I saw a young blueberry. Naturally, I waved, he followed me. Poor soul, he tried his best to kill randal. He wasted all of his ammo.

I was level 9 and I killed taken boss. I just reset my warlock. At level 8 or above, you do max damage, everything else is capped. Your sniper will do same damage as any blue high impact sniper to them. Number will be 3206 on boss per headshot. The reason I know this is one of my friend joined and we both tested this. Aside from that, I have a blue sniper(that I saved) has same impact as black spindle ;) it has really bad first perk but short gaze and quick draw LOL.
