4.0 trials kd, doing double carries, tips and advices
Alright so I have been doing double trials carries for the whole weekend. And I have learned many new things how to play with people who are not that great in the game, I try to help them learn how to play trials after my carry session is over.
I have carried many double lighthouse virgos, and it feels good when I see someone getting to lighthouse for the first time, see someone getting that sweet emblem they have been thirsting for.
My overall kd in trials is around 4 but after starting to do double carries it will go down. It already has started its downfall and probably will go even more.
To do double carries I use a warlock (surprise) just because that sweet stag giving me super energy when clutching, I usually use double fusion nades or solar grenades with sunbreakers. Sometimes switch to a firebolt when pushing with radiant skin.
I have to switch weapons and loadouts pretty often depending on the round and spawn. Shotgun is pretty much my favorite weapon, using scout rifle, suros dis-43 is my baby <3
Not really making any point with this post other than saying that great way to learn to play trials is by doing double carries or playing with someone who is doing that. Because in double carries you need your teammates to do actually something they cant be carried as easily as single carries.
Let them teach you, be willing to learn and become a better player. When watching streams try to learn from them, use same tricks and sneaky spots as they do. Practise your gunskill, gotta win those duels.

Interesting angle. So how does one get in on these carries then? I like to think I can do more than just be a dead weight and can hold my own in regular crucible but I've never been to the lighthouse and as there is little left to do I'd like to try at least once. What I do?

Just for the record...I would love to play with someone (on my team) that is doing a double carry. I'd even half carry myself to lighten the load! Any double-carrying Xbox One bad asses feel free to invite me when I'm on during Trials. In fact, I'll jump on right now if someone wants to reply to this. I was going to clean my guns for training tomorrow but that can wait. =p

5 RespuestasI'm finally getting good at trials after a year. One thing that really has helped me is learning to user he No Land Beyond so I can also use my Conspiracy Theory D. Since the Taken King my Trials KD has gone up from a .7 to .94 and it's still rising. My ELO has gone up into the low 1200s too. I've been flawless once, but the best I can usually do (with my brother and friend) is around six or seven wins. Then crap gets real. As a fellow Warlock (I run Voidwalker) what advice can you give me and my friends to improve our game and help me help them get to the Lighthouse?

Yeah, I'm pretty bad at Trials. I'm not terrible in the crucible, but doubt I've ever make it to the lighthouse, which is okay I guess. If you every want to play, hit me up on Xbox One, I'm RDefenderCam.
