Is shoulder charge overpowered?
I personally get kills by this 3 or 4 times a game sometimes.. It's so easy to use and is so annoying. -_-

1 RespuestaNot always easy. Watch radar and you can decimate anyone coming at you with it. It takes a good team but I have used shoulder charge to get into groups with my shotgun when they concentrated on others on my team. You're pretty much the test mouse of how good a team is if you rush with it.

It seems overpowered at first glance, but once you learn to not cling to the corners of corridors you can easily counter them with a shotgun, sidearm, fusion rifle, or a max ROF auto rifle.

1 RespuestaIt's so easy to shadestep though, I have no idea why any hunter would cry about it. And warlocks can see the Titan coming and hit him with a melee from halfway across the map (sarcastically) and get the oversheild.

All shoulder charge does is save shotgun ammo, while simultaneous making you more vulnerable to shotguns. It's a pretty crappy ability only useful against unaware opponents.

If a Titan is just running and not shooting, Shotgun. Looks like he is running to a corner for cover and it looks like he could easily bend that corner and hit you, shotgun. If he is in the air aiming at you shotgun. Or just play pve.

I main Titan, I know that shoulder charge it's a risk-reward thing (and also funny as hell if you use it to piss off your friends in a rumble match). It's easy to get shotguned to the face, get killed by a primary weapon if they see you running in their direction or even get sniped on the rarest cases. I don't think it needs a nerf since you have to get EXTREMELY close to kill someone, and it has a timer when you run so you cannot activate the shoulder charge whenever you like, only in a specified amount of time after being able to trigger it.

From what I've done if you jump right when they shoulder charge you can dodge it and get behind them

I'm surprised you even have to ask that question. Any Titan knows it's an easy strategy to get at least 3 to 4 kills with like to said.
