Year 2 Faction Ships are no longer dropping (this needs an official response)
Ok, here's the thing, when TTK was launched everyone was getting the year 2 ships immediately, me included (I got the Dead Orbit one on day one). Then a bug with one of the New Monarchy ships occurred and the "fix" they made for that one, in my opinion, did something to the drop rate of the others.
I can accept being unlucky, but this goes beyond any reasonable limit. Here's my situation with factions:
Huntress: Rank 36 DO, Rank 40 FWC, Rank 61 NM.
Titan: Rank 20 DO, Rank 7 FWC, Rank 205 (yes, 205) NM.
Warlock: Rank 20 DO, Rank 77 FWC, Rank 14 NM.
Now, with a total of 76 DO levels, 124 FWC levels and 280 NM levels, you would expect to drop the Comitatus at least, maybe the Road Unraveled and less likely the Kondratyuk's Escape, but its the other way around, I only have the Dead Orbit one, and only because I opened up a few level up packs on day one of TTK. Most of these levels were done after TTK and RNG or not, this is for sure some kind of bug.
I'm honestly getting tired of wasting materials for nothing, and I'd like a clarification from some official channels.
PS: To make sure of this I saved some coins and went from level 3 FWC to level 40 on my huntress in the past week, since most people said they got their year 2 ship in the 25-40 range I was expecting it to drop, but it didn't, which proves my point even further.
Update 6/5: deleted and remade my titan, will let you guys know if levelling the new monarchy from scratch works out. (it's going to take a few days to save coins and all)
Update 6/17: so I was right about the Road Unraveled, it was bugged for some players. 2 days after the fix I opened up 2 FWC packages and got it, I'm glad they fixed it. Not sure about the Comitatus yet, my new Titan has reached rank 28 and it didn't drop yet. Maybe I was hoping for it to drop right away at rank 25, but I'll wait for a few more levels before jumping to conclusions again. I just hope Comitatus is not bugged the same way the Road Unraveled was, and in that case I hope it doesn't take them months to realize. Anyway, back to saving coins for more NM levels, let's hope for the best!

I did get the DO right after the update [b]My Characters' Factions Ranks:[/b] Hunter: 68 DO, 61 FWC, 22 NM Titan: 43 DO, 46 NM Warlock: 29 FWC, 113 NM So total of 90 FWC ranks & 181 NM and no new ships. The Warlock recently went from 0-29 in FWC and No new ship. So that you'll get a new ship by rank 25 theory is not necessarily correct.

Bump. Hopefully the right person at Bungie see's this and is able to put it forward so we can get some answers, if there really is a bug preventing me from getting my year 2 NM ship I would like to know so I dont constantly keep wasting my strange coins and motes of light on something that is impossible to get.

2 RespuestasHaving the same problem. Must have ranked up over 100x since april update and still no year 2 nm or fwc ship. Also turned in over 40 vanguard packs and still no orange ship. Also wondering if the green crucible ships are bugged since i do shaxx bounties x3 every week since october.

Same story here... Titan is 138 NM Warlock 30 (went from rank 2 to 30 in 2 weeks) Hunter is rank 10 this is ridiculous!!!

A couple weeks ago when I reached rank 25 with FWC "the road unraveled" dropped.

There's most certainly an issue with it. I'm over 250 combined over my 4 (One deleted) characters and 'The Road Unraveled' refuses to drop, along with 'Fatal Vision' and all of the Crucible Weekly Bounty ships and shader (Kingspyre)

1 RespuestaRoad Unraveled and Comitatus definitely aren't dropping. All of the other ones are though. Bungie will not comment on the matter. It took them about 7 months... 7 months... to inform the community TTK cryptarch shaders weren't dropping.
